Purpose of these workshops: Life together is not always easy in the body of Christ. Even when we have the best of intentions, there are times when our individual experiences are so completely different from one another that we can find it difficult to relate in a healthy way. These workshops are designed to help overcome those things that sometimes cause brothers and sisters in Christ to feel isolated or even alienated from their local congregation.

The Mission and Vision of Concordia

Our Mission:

Our mission is clearly expressed with a symbol that is nearly as old as the Lutheran Church. When the Formula of Concord was written, a symbol was soon after attached to it of a harp that had at its center Luther's Seal. Since our name is Concordia Lutheran Church, we have claimed this symbol and the purpose of the Formula of Concord as our own. Our mission statement is, "Together we reach out and strengthen with the Gospel of Jesus Christ." We are committed to promoting a harmony that has as its foundation the Bible, which is the inspired Word of God.

Become the most accessible church in the Evansville area by removing obstacles of all kinds.
