Ranger Derby Museum Day with all the hardware for our 2022 Ranger Derby. Bring your old cars and trophies to display this Sunday. The Ranger Derby is Saturday, February 19. We are cutting cars and sanding for anyone who needs help. The question is who is going home with the hardware?

Ranger Derby car kits will be available beginning Wednesday, January 20. The cost for the cars kits are $5.00 each. Each car kit will consist of 1 block of wood, 4 wheels, 4 axles and a build/rule sheet (with building dimensions, rules and tips). Please start talking to your child (children) about what they want their car to look like. Beginning Wednesday, January 27 we will have volunteers available to cut out the cars and do some rough sanding. Please help mark on the block how the cars should be cut out and send just the block of wood. The rest is up to you and your child (please don’t let this overwhelm you it is supposed to be fun! Note: Hobby Lobby and Michael’s sell sticks, paint, etc. and both have a Ranger/Pinewwod Derby area. If you need help, please ask. The day of the race we have a 3 hour time trial period that we have volunteers help complete cars, put on wheels and fine tune the cars prior to the race. Have fun and let’s go racing!
