Continuing our series, "Faith over Fear," Pastor C led us into a thought-provoking message from Numbers 13:26–33, where the spies returned from the Promised Land with two very different perspectives.
While ten spies focused on the giants, fortified cities, and obstacles before them, Caleb and Joshua chose to focus on God's promise and His ability to bring His people through. The challenge was clear: What report are we believing?
The message reminded us that fear has a way of making our challenges appear larger than our God. Faith does not deny the existence of giants—it simply recognizes that God is greater.
As we gathered for Holy Communion, we reflected on Christ's sacrifice and were reminded that our strength, hope, and victory are found in Him. Communion served as a powerful reminder that we do not face life's battles alone.
Sunday's Takeaway
The giants may be real, but so is God. Don't allow fear to dictate your next move. Hold on to faith, trust God's promises, and move forward with confidence, knowing that God has already gone before you.
