Christ Temple Church Evanston IL

Call Directions

Christ Temple Church Evanston IL To be a caring community of Christ followers that are characterized both by an authentic passion for God and a genuine love for people.

It is our desire that we be known as a community of people who are passionate about Jesus and committed to reaching beyond our walls to love people in simple, practical ways. We believe that God calls us to tap into the rich, ancient worship practices of the early church as we confess the historical creeds, participate in the Lords Supper and plumb the depths of the Holy Scriptures, teaching the Death Burial and Resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ

While valuing a connection with classic Christianity, we seek to present the timeless gospel in ways that are relevant, creative and highly contemporary in this fast-paced, rapidly evolving 21st century culture. We firmly believe that God is calling us not to go through religious motions, but to be a community in which people can discover and experience God in fresh and profound ways and be a part of fulfilling God's exciting purposes
