Alice Millar Birthday Concert 🎂🎶
February 6 | 5:00 PM | Alice Millar Chapel

A concert of sublime and exciting music featuring the Alice Millar Chapel Choir & NU Symphony Orchestra. The pillars of this program will be two works by Joseph Haydn. The Great Organ Solo Mass intertwines sparkling lines for the chamber organ with beautiful passages for solo voices, chorus, and orchestra. The Symphony No. 97 in C Major, one of Haydn’s London Symphonies of 1792, is a joyous showcase for orchestra. Rounding out the concert is Eric Whitacre’s soaring choral work, Alleluia.

A freewill offering will be accepted to support the music program at Alice Millar Chapel.

Please note: Masks are required, per Northwestern University policy.

Join the Office of Religious & Spiritual Life (RSL) and University Chaplain, Rev. Kristen Glass Perez at Alice Millar Chapel's Opening Chapel Service on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Those who are interested in singing during the 11:00am (CDT) worship service are invited to a 9:30am (CDT) open choir rehearsal. RSL Staff also invites the Northwestern community to a time of fellowship before and after the worship service where a light continental breakfast will be provided.
