Catholic Theological Union is excited to invite you to "Theologians of the Vatican II Era," a special public lecture course at Catholic Theological Union this fall. There are seven hour-long sessions on Tuesday nights, in person OR online. Lectures will be presented by scholars from CTU, the University of Notre Dame, and Fairfield University. A special highlight will be three lectures by Thomas O’Meara, OP, who personally worked with Congar, Rahner, and Küng. It's impossible to overstate how deeply Gabe Huck and his wife Theresa shaped the liturgical life and the Peace & Justice work of St. Nicholas parish in their time with us. We sing your words over and over, Gabe, with deepest gratitude.

🙏 GIA mourns the passing of liturgist and text author Gabe Huck. In addition to his work with Liturgy Training Publications, Gabe collaborated on many songs published by GIA.

Vice President of Sacred Music Kate Williams wrote: "Gabe's deep intellect and sincere practice resounds in every interview he gave, every article or book he wrote, every discreet contribution in collaboration with clergy and lay people across a multitude of platforms that are still reaching those who are longing to be connected once again to their place in the liturgy of life."

May the angels lead you into the paradise you so beautifully pointed our eyes toward by your witness.

We didn't get photos of all of the rummage sale departments this evening, but here's a quick look at the cafeteria about ten minutes before the end of the pre-sale. A few things might have sold after this, but the vast majority of this will be available when we open at 8:00 am tomorrow (be prepared for a line when we first open, but there is a LOT of stuff in our buildings. The deals will be there all day!). 806 Ridge Ave, in Evanston 8am-2pm. Payment by cash or credit card.

Yesterday was the last day for donations, and we definitely got them! Our volunteers may look buried in STUFF, but they'll get it in order by Saturday. Come witness the transformed rummage sale -- 8:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturday, June 20 on the St. Nicholas campus (806 Ridge Ave in Evanston).
