A JOYFUL DAY AT ST. JAMES!

We are delighted to announce that on Sunday, September 27, we will welcome our Primate, Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan, to St. James Armenian Church for an Episcopal Holy Badarak.

During the Holy Badarak, we will also have the great joy of witnessing the ordination of our Sub-Deacons Brandon Simon and Eduard Danilyan to the Diaconate.

This will be a particularly meaningful occasion for our parish as we celebrate two young parishioners who are taking an important step forward in their commitment to serve God and His Church. Their willingness to accept this responsibility is a beautiful testimony to the life and future of our parish.

Please join us for this special and blessed occasion as we welcome our Primate, celebrate the Holy Badarak together, and pray for Brandon and Eduard as they begin this new chapter of service.

Join us on Sunday, September 13, as we celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross—one of the five major feasts of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Following the Divine Liturgy, we will celebrate the traditional Antasdan service, blessing the four corners of the world. The relic of the True Holy Cross will also be brought out for the faithful to venerate.

Donations of sweet basil (rehan) and flowers are gratefully accepted for the decoration of the Holy Cross. Please contact the church office at (847) 864-6263 if you would like to make a donation.
