For more than 25 years, First UMC has been blessed to participate in the Appalachia Service Project (ASP), sharing Christ's love through hands-on home repair and relationship-building with families in need.

Join us this Sunday at 10:30am Worship for our special ASP Service as we celebrate this ministry, hear stories of impact, and support the work that continues to change lives—both in the communities we serve and in the hearts of those who serve.

If you would like to help support our ASP ministry, please consider making a donation. Your generosity helps provide materials, transportation, and resources that allow us to continue serving others in Christ's name.

This past Sunday we said a blessing over the Prayer Shawl and Care Quilt ministry. A wonderful ministry that wraps community members in prayer and care. The sanctuary was lined with many handmade shawls which members were invited to wrap themselves in or take to others.

Beginning Sunday, June 14th we'll return to our summer worship schedule. 9am in Lunt Park for a relaxed, 45-minute, contemplative service worship service under the trees. 10:30am in Tittle Chapel for traditional worship with music carried by our organ, preaching, and prayers under the gothic architecture.
