The Church of Christ the King was founded in 2004 by a group of laymen and women who had come to realize that The Episcopal Church had strayed far from its foundations in the English Reformation, the Bible, and the historic Anglican forms of worship. It is our purpose to “worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness,” to follow Jesus’ commandments “To Love the Lord you God with all your heart and wi

th all your mind and with all your strength, and your neighbors as yourselves.” As Anglicans, we seek to be friendly with the past but not confined to it. The Church of Christ the King is a part of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA), and is a part of the Diocese of Quincy, under the leadership of The Rt. Shawn Doubet, Canon for Congregational Development serves as our priest-in-charge.
