Our Savvy Shopper has been out and about in search of the best deals for our Thanksgiving Food Drive!
Check out the deals we've found through Tuesday, October 20th (most stores weekly sales begin on Wednesday). Be sure to pick up your brown paper bag the next time you're at Mosaic! Each bag has a shopping list stapled to it. Our Pantry team asks that you fill them and drop them off by Sunday, November 1st.
- Stovetop Stuffing Mix is under $2 a box at major grocery stores! Kroger has the best deal this week -- save $1 per box when you purchase 5 or more. Store Brand Stuffing Mix comes in around $1 a box -- Aldi $0.79, Walmart $0.97, Kroger $1.29.
- Dry Gravy Mix at all major grocery stores comes in under $0.60 a packet! Walmart's Great Value brand is on sale for $0.27 each (regularly $0.57)!
- Kroger has a great deal on Progresso soup this week -- save $1 per can when you buy 5 or more (that comes out to $1.79 per can)! Walmart also has Progresso and Campbell's Chunky soups on sale for $1.98 a can.
- Idahoan Instant Potato Packs are on sale for 2 for $3 at Kroger ($1.50 each). Walmart has them for $1.28 each, and Aldi has them for $1.65 each.
- Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix comes in under $1 at all major grocery stores.
- The only stores we've seen selling 16oz canned hams are Food Lion and Walmart. Both stores have them priced about $5 each.
- Canned fruit is under $2 a can at all major grocery stores, but Aldi comes in with the best deal at $1.75 per can.
