Excellent 🔥🙌🏼

Some people only know how to love the edited version of you; the polished smile, the measured words, the carefully guarded heart. They applaud the parts of you that fit neatly into their expectations, while quietly resisting the parts God is still shaping. But the right people, the God-sent people; will love the unfiltered you. The overthinking mind. The honest soul. They will not demand perfection before offering acceptance.
Many will celebrate your comfort, but struggle with your calling. They enjoyed you when you were convenient, predictable, available, and easy to manage. Yet the moment obedience to God required you to grow, change, or walk a different path, their applause became silence. "Few wounds cut deeper than being misunderstood while simply trying to obey the voice of God."
Joseph was misunderstood by his brothers. David was misunderstood by his family. Jeremiah was misunderstood by his generation. Even our Lord was misunderstood by many who walked beside Him. Yet heaven never measures your life by human approval. “For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God?” (Galatians 1:10). Sometimes the very evidence that you are following God is that not everyone understands where He is leading you.
You will never be “too much” for those, heaven intended to walk beside you, and you will never be “not enough” for hearts that truly see you. Real relationships do not constantly wonder whether your honesty was too heavy or your vulnerability too real. The right people are not drawn to your performance; they are drawn to your authenticity.
The people who belong in your life stay for reasons deeper than convenience. They stay because something genuine in you feels like home. They recognize grace beneath your flaws, sincerity beneath your struggles, and faith beneath your fears. They understand that God never intended relationships to be sustained by pretending.
So breathe easy and be unmistakably yourself. Your destiny is far too sacred to trade for human approval. The approval of people is a moving target, but the approval of God is a steady anchor. When you know who you are in Christ, you no longer need every voice to agree with your journey.
What is forced, will eventually fade, but what is real will remain. Authenticity has a holy way of removing what was temporary and revealing what was meant to stay. Time exposes shallow connections and strengthens genuine ones. The people who are right for you will not merely tolerate your humanity, they will treasure your presence.
And perhaps that is one of life’s sweetest lessons: what God ordains does not require endless striving to maintain. What He joins together is strengthened by truth, nurtured by grace, and preserved by love. The right people may not always understand everything about you, but they will honor who God created you to be.
“Fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14), you were never designed to become a lesser version of yourself to gain acceptance. Walk boldly in the person God created you to be. Those who truly belong in your story will not ask you to hide your heart. They will thank God for it.
