Back to school!!!! What a time we had today at the back to school event at Second Baptist. The children had a wet and wild day trying to keep cool in today’s scorcher. Hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fried catfish, fried buffalo, nachos w/cheese, cookies, snocones and cotton candy (thanks Miriam) lemonade. We ate to our hearts desire and our stomachs were full.

The children’s Sunday School class was filled to capacity today! 4 are graduating from middle to high school and 1 has an honors program coming up.

A day out with the children. Our plans for the circus fell through. Not to worry we went to plan “B”. CiCi’s pizza and Upsurge trampoline facility was enough to tire the children and adults out for the evening. We were complemented at Cici’s because the children were well behaved!

We treated the children to a trip to Tuscaloosa Tinsel Trail after rehearsal for the Christmas program. The children enjoyed the different themes on the tree decorations!
