This summer we replaced our piano, with the generous support of parishioners and friends, and our music program keeps growing--so much, in fact, that we needed more space for the St. Francis' Singers! On Monday we moved the organ to an adjacent wall. The new position accommodates our growing number of singers, better protect the pipes from people touching them and prevents singers from being overwhelmed by the volume of the pipes.

Sunday Morning Programming for Kids 4 and Up. Starts at 10:30 just as mass begins; children will join their families for Communion

July 5: In July we will be learning about the kingdom parables in Matthew 13. We will spend the month looking for ways to see the God's kingdom all around us! We will begin on July 5th with a scavenger hunt, using clues to find hidden treasure around the church.

June 28: We finish our reflection on welcoming others following Jesus' words in Matthew 10:40, "Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me" by working on a mission project by assembling care packages for members of St. Francis and other members of our community.

Sue Schmidt hosted parishioners for a party with wonderful food and fellowship in her home last Friday evening! Thank you to Sue and Nip and Nick Schaeffer, her daughter and son-in-law, whose efforts produced a wonderful event!

All this month we are learning about welcoming others following Jesus' words in Matthew 10:40, " Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me". This week we will be baking cookies to pass out to friends and neighbors as a sign of God's welcome! Join us at 10:30 am Sunday morning in the Blue Room in the St. Clare Wing. For children aged 4 and up.

Last night our Young Adult Bible Study participants took a break from their regular meeting to enjoy celebrating the birthdays of two members, Matt and Derek, and to enjoy board games. Next week, back to Bible Study!

We're always accepting food donations that we deliver to the Eureka Food Pantry, but this month, let's blow it out of the water! Support our friends at the UPS Store, who are our partners through Tri-County Behavioral Health Collaborative, as they run a month-long food drive to fill the shelves of the Food Pantry!

The Eureka UPS Store and Print Center is proud to host a June 2026 Community Food Drive supporting the Eureka Food Pantry right here in our hometown.

Monday–Friday: 8 AM – 7 PM

You do not need to spend any extra money to help. Just take a few moments to look through your pantry and bring in any non-perishable food items that may be collecting dust on a shelf. Everything helps someone in need right here in our local community.

We are pleased to share the great work of the local Eureka Lions. Keeping our kids safe an dhealthy through free swim lessons!

Do you have a child between the ages of 5-12? Do they know how to swim? If not, the Eureka Lions Club is offering a few swimming program. This year is our 72nd year of providing free swimming classes to our youth.

Classes will be at the Wildwood Family YMCA starting June 1st for 2 weeks. Registration opens this Friday, May 1st. You can contact Jon Tobben at the YMCA at [email protected] or call 636-458-6636. This year we are offering free goggles for each student.

So, hurry and register your child as these classes fill up FAST!
