Recently it has come my attention that some people might think we have turned the church into a hotel. That is so far from the truth. So a couple months ago, we started a sober living at our church. We provide a room for those in need. Rock Springs Sober Living is for people who have completed a 90 day (or longer) program. They must have a full time job so they can save up money for a place of their own. We want to be the next step for them to be able to get back on their feet. We are using the old classrooms as bedrooms. Clients must pay a bit to stay to cover costs of utilities. This is in no way a money making business. It is a decision that was prayed over and made by our congregation. In fact, any client that we may have is a decision that is prayed over. We feel led to help those in need. And given that God has provided a building that was sitting empty, we have stepped out in faith for this ministry.
