The Youth are bringing a little fun to the community with our Flamingo Flocking Fundraiser!

Here's how it works: For a donation, you can send a flock of flamingos to someone’s yard! Whether you want to celebrate someone, surprise a friend, or simply make someone smile, you choose the recipient and we’ll take care of the rest.

Once the flamingos arrive, the recipient will receive information about how to properly remove them. Our goal is to keep these flamingos traveling throughout our community while raising money for our Youth Ministry. Every donation helps provide opportunities for our students to connect, grow, serve, and share.

Head over to our Linktree to get started!

This morning, we grieve for the loss of one of EHS's seniors, Wyatt Carmichael.

In the face of unexpected and traumatic loss, our hearts break and look for comfort. Psalm 34:18 says, “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” In times of great loss such as this, may we turn to the Lord and His promises for hope. As grief unravels in new ways every day, may we remember that His mercies also remain new every morning.

Even though we don’t have all of the answers, we do not have to face this tragedy alone. May we surround one another with love and understanding as we all come to terms with how our community will be different without Wyatt’s presence. If you need help processing what has happened, please know that our Eupora Methodist pastoral team would love to hear you and comfort you. Join us as we pray for Wyatt’s family, friends, classmates, teachers, church family, and all who knew and loved him.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. Amen.
