*Keep HEB Masjid open*

Alḥamdulillāh, by the Grace of Allah (SWT), we are blessed to be able to pray Taraweeh in our masjid. We have been granted temporary permission to keep the masjid open until March 27, 2026.
However, a Certificate of Occupancy for permanent operation will only be issued once the following City-mandated updates are completed:
Enhance structural columns – Estimated cost: $20,000
Construct a fire wall partition around the prayer space; enlarge entrance and exit doors; replace all exit doors with two-hour fire-rated doors – Estimated cost: $45,000
Upgrade the multipurpose hall with fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems; complete finish-out work – Estimated cost: $85,000
Expand the musallah by adding 75 prayer spaces with new carpet, drywall, and paint – Estimated cost: $65,000
Expand parking area – Estimated cost: $50,000
Install fencing to prevent car headlights from impacting neighboring residences – Estimated cost: $15,000
Construct retaining wall and stormwater drainage improvements – Estimated cost: $15,000
Total Estimated Cost: $295,000
