Our parish was established in 1980. In 2012, led by Metropolitan Isaiah of Denver, we opened the doors of our new Byzantine style Church. The parish always welcomes visitors and inquirers in the Orthodox Faith! John the Baptist Greek Orthodox

Church belongs to the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Denver under the Omophorion of His Eminence Metropolitan Isaiah of Denver, as part of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.

Our Explore Orthodoxy classes are beginning again this fall at St. John the Baptist! First class September 15 at 7pm in the Peter’s Parish Center.

Whether you are exploring Orthodoxy for the first time, considering becoming Orthodox, or simply want to deepen your understanding of the Faith, you are welcome.

We’ll explore what Orthodox Christians believe, how we worship, and how the ancient faith of the Church is lived today.
