From the Pastor Desk Psalm 146 God’s Word spoken is Truth

Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul! Psa 146:1) I will praise the LORD while I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. (Psa 146:2) Do not trust in princes, In mortal man, in whom there is no salvation. (Psa 146:3) His spirit departs, he returns to the earth; In that very day, his thoughts perish. (Psa 146:4) How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose hope is in the LORD his God, (Psa 146:5) Who made heaven and earth, The sea and all that is in them; (Psa 146:6) Who keeps faith forever; Who executes justice for the oppressed; Who gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free. (Psa 146:7) The LORD opens the eyes of the blind; The LORD raises up those who are bowed down; The LORD loves the righteous; (Psa 146:8) The LORD protects the strangers; He supports the fatherless and the widow, But He thwarts the way of the wicked. (Psa 146:9) The LORD will reign forever, Your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD! (Psa 146:10)

Scriptural Commentary

God wants human beings to put their hope in His spoken Word. His word is Truth. The Scriptures has Spoken, it is better to take refuge in the LORD Than to trust in man (Psalm 118:8). O give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is vain (Psalm 108:12). How blessed are the people who are so situated; How blessed are the people whose God is the LORD! (Psalm 144:15). And he said with a loud voice, “Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters (Revelation 14:7). For His lovingkindness is great toward us, And the truth of the LORD is everlasting. Praise the LORD! (Psalm 117:2). “The LORD supports the afflicted; He brings down the wicked to the ground (Psalm 147:6) To vindicate the orphan and the oppressed, So that man who is of the earth will no longer cause terror (Psalm 10:18). We should do this! We will sing to the LORD as long as we live; We will sing praises to our God while we have our being (Psalm104:33) (Making it plural) The LORD nullifies the counsel of the nations; He frustrates the plans of the people (Psalm 33:10). Only His Word can fulfill all the things above.!

The LORD sustains all who fall And raises up all who are bowed down. (Psa 145:14) The eyes of all look to You, And You give them their food in due time. (Psa 145:15) You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing. (Psa 145:16) The LORD is righteous in all His ways And kind in all His deeds. (Psa 145:17) The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. (Psa 145:18) He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them. (Psa 145:19) The LORD keeps all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy. (Psa 145:20) My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, And all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever. (Psa 145:21)

Scriptural Commentary

Do our children, grand, great, and world see our beacon-ship in Christ in our life? That is our duty as parents and grand-parent however great we become. Let us turn to the Word of God, and apply its timeless righteous principals, the Word said, “When he [we] falls, [we] will not be hurled headlong, because the LORD is the One who holds [Our] hand” (Psalm 37:24). The praise song “He kept me” Yes, the Mighty One who kept us. Another Passage said, “The LORD opens the eyes of the blind; The LORD raises those who are bowed down; The LORD loves the righteous; (Psa 146:8) [ When we are depressed, low in spirit after a loss, He raises us]! We should praise our God before our children, grand, and great and be that beacon. For the Scripture said, “Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; Yes, our God is compassionate.” (Psa 116:5). It furthermore said, “The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psa 34:18). Then, we are beacons to all people, even our children great, and grand, they will witness our courage, how we bear the pain, and adversity with courage. The praise song, “I will trust in the Lord” becomes part of our living legacy for all. The Word said, “My [Our] mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, And all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever. (Psa 145:21). Now, let our words, actions to our children grand, great, and the world see our beacon-ship of Christ in our life.

From the Pastor Desk, God is Good To All Psalm 145 verses 9 to 13

The LORD is good to all, And His mercies are over all His works. (Psa 145:9) All Your works shall give thanks to You, O LORD, And Your godly ones shall bless You. (Psa 145:10) They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom And talk of Your power; (Psa 145:11) To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom. (Psa 145:12) Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures throughout all generations. (Psa 145:13).

For clarification to my readers, I used the title “Scriptural Commentary “instead of Commentary alone” because we need to know what the Scripture said.
When Jesus was lead into the Wilderness to be tempted by the devil before He started His earthly ministry, He reminded the Devil what the Scripture said, how can we do any more or less, let us get fill-up in the Word and defeat the Devil every time, then, the holy angel, and the Holy Spirit shall sustain us because our words mean very little so, let us use the Word of God in our thoughts words, and actions, God is good to all the Scripture said, “So that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous (45) (Matthew 5:45). The Lord's loving kindnesses indeed never cease we are not consumed (22They are new every morning; Great is your faithfulness (23) ) (Lamentations 3:22). What shall speak? The Scripture said,” For the choir director. A Psalm of David. The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. (Psalm 19:1). The Prophet intercession for Judah and those same words are applied to us now! He said, “Do not despise [us] for Your own name’s sake; Do not disgrace the throne of Your glory; Remember [and] do not annual Your covenant with us. (21) Are there any among the idols of the nations who give rain? Or can the heavens grant showers? (22) Is it not You, O LORD our God? Therefore, we hope in You, For You are the one who has done all these things (23) (Jeremiah 14:21-23). We the sons, and daughters of the King, therefore, we must make our God known to the lost in the world. The Psalmist said, “Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the people. (Psalm 105:1). Your kingdom is everlasting, and the Scripture said, “Now to the King eternal, Immortal, invisible, the only God, [be] honor and glory forever and ever. Amen (17) (1 Timothy 1:17). Yes, God is Good To All!

Psalm 142, From the Pastor Desk
Pray for Help in Trouble
I cry aloud with my voice to the LORD; I make my supplication with my view to the LORD. Psalm 142:1 I pour out my complaint before Him; I declare my trouble before Him. (Psa 142:2) When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, You knew my path. In the way where I walk They have hidden a trap for me. (Psa 142:3) Look to the right and see; For there is no one who regards me; There is no escape for me; No one cares for my soul. (Psa 142:4) I cried out to You, O LORD; I said, “You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living. (Psa 142:5) “Give heed to my cry, For I am brought very low; Deliver me from my persecutors, For they are too strong for me. (Psa 142:6) “Bring my soul out of prison, So that I may give thanks to Your name; The righteous will surround me, For You will deal bountifully with me.” (Psa 142:7)
Scripture Commentary
We find strength, comfort, and hope in the Word of God. the Scripture said, "For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. (R0mans 15:4).Follow the Psalmist lead when we are in any trouble cry out to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, He will deliver allthe time. At times in our humanist, we feel like no one cares, but deep within our inner being we hear different tunes similar to this one; "Thou carest LORD, Thou carest LORD, for me, for me. The Scripture said, "From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I." Pray to the Only Living that sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ to save us from our sins. His blood was shed for us! The Scripture said, "casting all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7). Therefore, do not drown in your sorrow, or grief. The Scripture said, "I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust"!...(9) For you have made the LORD, my refuge,[Even] the Most High, your dwelling place (Psalm 91:2, 9)

Psalm 141:1-10

God sees, hear, and He is near

A Psalm of David.

O LORD, I call upon You; hasten to me! Give ear to my voice when I call to You! (Psa 141:1) May my prayer be counted as incense before You; The lifting up of my hands as the evening offering. (Psa 141:2) Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips. (Psa 141:3) Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, To practice deeds of wickedness With men who do iniquity; And do not let me eat of their delicacies. (Psa 141:4) Let the righteous smite me in kindness and reprove me; It is oil upon the head; Do not let my head refuse it, For still my prayer is against their wicked deeds. (Psa 141:5) Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock, And they hear my words, for they are pleasant. (Psa 141:6) As when one plows and breaks open the earth, Our bones have been scattered at the mouth of Sheol. (Psa 141:7) For my eyes are toward You, O GOD, the Lord; In You I take refuge; do not leave me defenseless. (Psa 141:8) Keep me from the jaws of the trap which they have set for me, And from the snares of those who do iniquity. (Psa 141:9) Let the wicked fall into their own nets, While I pass by safely. (Psa 141:10)

Scriptural Commentary

God understands our suffering, and groaning; He will answer us in His Faithfulness, and His righteousness according to His Eternal Word (Psalm 143:1).

When Aaron trims the lamps at twilights, he shall burn incense. [There shall be] perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations (Exodus 30:8). In the days of Zachariah, the Word stated, “And the whole multitude of the people were in prayer outside at the hour of the incense offering (10) (Luke 1:10). I n Another place the Word said, “When He had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. (8) (Revelation 5:8). Note: The prayers of the saints produced an efficacy at the Throne of God. This is encouraging for at times we can become despondent in our Christian walk, but take courage, He will respond. Let us keep our tongues from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit

(Psalm 34:13). Put no confidence in a neighbor, or in a friend (Micah 7:5). Let us put our confidence in the True God who carries this attributes-Omnipresence, Omniscience, Omnipotence, and not a creation of people hands, or people vain imaginations. Because God sees, hears, and He is near!

Our Omnipresent God
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? (Psa. 139:7) If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. (Psa 139:8) If I take the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, (Psa. 139:9) Even there Your hand will lead me, And Your right hand will lay hold of me. (Psa. 139:10) If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me, And the light around me will be night,” (Psa. 139:11) Even the darkness is not dark to You, And the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are alike to You. (Psa. 139:12) For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. (Psa.139:13) I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. (Psa 139:14) My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; (Psa 139:15) Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. (Psa 139:16).
The meaning of omnipresent according to Webster: Present in all places at all times. We are constantly under the eye of the Lord. This is His infinite, and immensity of His Being from which follows the ubiquity of His divine presence according to Matthew Henry’s Commentary. Whether we are doing good, or evil, His eyes observe us. Let us go to the Scriptures. Jeremiah said, "Can a man hide in hiding places so I do not see him?" declares the Lord. Do I not fill the heavens and the earth. (23:24). Amos said, " though they hide on the summit of Carmel, I will search them out and take them from there; and though they conceal themselves from My sight on the floor of the sea, from there I will command the serpent and it will bite them." (9:3). Job said, "there is no darkness or deep shadow where the workers of iniquity may hide. (34:22). Daniel said, "It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells within. He is the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. It is futile to try to conceal to do evil things because He is always beholding one's deeds.

From the Pastor Desk Psalm 139:1-6

Our Omniscient God

For the choir director. A Psalm of David. O LORD, You have searched me and known me (Psalm 139:1) You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. (Psa 139:2) You scrutinize my path and my lying down And are intimately acquainted with all my ways. (Psa 139:3) Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, O LORD, You know it all. (Psa 139:4) You have enclosed me behind and before And laid Your hand upon me. (Psa 139:5) Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is too high, I cannot attain to it. (Psa 139:6).

The meaning of omniscience according to Webster: Having infinite awareness, understanding, and insight: Possessed of universal, or complete knowledge. He is the only God that have this distinguishing trait. All man-made gods are deficient in this area. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is not a creation of mortal’s hands. Let us go to Scripture that buttress or undergird these claims.

David left this testimony God try’s our heart, and test us, when He visit us by night (Psalm 17:3) He knows the secrets of the hearts, of all mankind (Psalm 44:21). Jeremiah left his testimony: O Lord you know me; You always see me, You know my attitude toward You, and set them apart for a day of carnage. (Jeremiah 12:3). The LORD knows the thoughts of man (Psalm 94:11). When we are thinking evil in our hearts the LORD knows (Matthew 9 :4). Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His way! There is no creature hidden from His sight (Hebrews 4:13). The Psalmist leaves us with this analogy, and comforting words, “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the lord SURROUNDS His people from this time forth forever (Psalm 125:2) Therefore, that is the Christian’s Omniscient God
