A New Year’s Message of Peace and Peacemaking
As we stand on the threshold of a new year, let us pause to reflect on the profound truth that peace in the world begins within the hearts of each individual. True peace, as taught by celestial wisdom, is not a mere absence of conflict but a state of harmony, trust, and divine alignment within ourselves—a state that radiates outward to transform the world around us.
The Path of the Peacemaker
To walk the path of the peacemaker is to first become intimately acquainted with the landscape of your own soul. Are there hidden fears, doubts, or unacknowledged desires that disturb your inner harmony? To be effective in creating peace, we must strive to uncover and resolve these inner disturbances. It is through this courageous self-discovery and healing that we cultivate the calm, coherent mind and tranquil soul that can carry the vibration of peace into a troubled world.
The Power of Inner Peace
Inner peace is not passive; it is a vibrant force. Those who live with inner peace often do so unconsciously, simply by their presence. Their calm demeanor, their lack of attachment to petty grievances, and their trust in the divine plan inspire others. They are steady, resilient, and unshaken by the storms of life because they dwell in the secure citadel of their spirit, fortified by faith in God’s over-care.
As we strive for this state, we recognize the importance of loving and accepting ourselves as beloved children of God. Such self-love is not selfish; it is foundational. When we embrace our own worth and trust in the divine, we become conduits of peace for others, a reflection of God’s love and goodwill in the world.
Peace in Action
Peacemaking is not always dramatic; often, it is quiet, unobtrusive, and humble. It may manifest in the simple act of listening deeply to another, extending forgiveness, or refusing to escalate tension in a difficult situation. It is the smile that reassures, the kind word that heals, and the silent prayer that uplifts. These small acts, performed with great love, ripple out to counterbalance the forces of division and fear.
As we enter this new year, let us remember that peace is not a destination but a way of being. It is a choice we make each day, in every thought, word, and action. And as more of us choose peace, the balance of goodwill on this planet continues to grow, tipping the scales toward light and love.
A Universal Calling
The call to peacemaking is universal. Each of us, regardless of our circumstances, has the capacity to be a peacemaker. When we serve peace, we not only serve God but also ourselves. In seeking to bring peace to others, we find our own hearts healed and uplifted.
This year, may we each resolve to deepen our inner peace and extend its light to the world. Let us trust that God holds all things in hand and that, despite the tribulations of the moment, the trajectory of our world is toward healing and unity.
A Prayer for the New Year
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, fill our hearts and minds. May we be instruments of this peace, bringing hope, compassion, and healing wherever we go. And may we walk confidently into this new year, trusting that as we choose peace, we help to usher in the dawn of a brighter, more harmonious world.

A Historical Perspective and A Call to Serve

Welcome to all those residing on the planet, Earth, commonly known in universal circles as Urantia. I am Machiventa Melchizedek, your Planetary Prince who resides on and administers to the spiritual realms surrounding your world. I am here today to share with you a series of important events that occurred on Urantia many years ago so that you may better understand why your planet as well as the many people and cultures residing on it are in varying states of disarray and require rehabilitation. Due to the unfortunate circumstances occurring long ago in your planet’s past, you may not be aware of my presence and that of other supporting celestials among you.
In universe time, I was only recently assigned to this role by Christ Michael, the Creator Son of the Universe, Nebadon in which you live. However, I have a long history of service to those living on your planet that extends for hundreds of thousands of years since the arrival of the first Planetary Prince, Caligastia. At first, he and his staff of 100 embarked on the task of upgrading the life of the existing early populations of mankind. It was Calgastia’s responsibility to educate them about their spiritual heritage as well.
Your planet along with a small sector of other planets within this planetary system, was brought into a rebellion when after a while, Caligastia aligned his loyalties to Lucifer, a fallen one, with unethical and harmful intentions. This was indeed a rare event in the Universe of Nebadon as well as in the Master Universe and it took many by surprise, causing confusion and conflict to those living a physical life on earth and those from the spiritual realms who supported these humans.
Under the nefarious direction of Lucifer, Caligastia denounced the rightful leadership of your Creator Son, Christ Michael and his partner, the Mother Spirit, Nebadonia, who together created most of you along with this planet and this particular universe called Nebadon. He then went on to further denounce the Creator of ‘all that exists’, the Universal Father of our Master Universe whom some of you refer to as God or The First Source and Center.
The malfeasance of these misdirected and self-serving individuals attempted to destroy all communication between humans on Earth, and the spiritual world around them. They denounced the presence and validity of your creators and destroyed the communication circuits. But that was not enough. They also altered critical aspects of your physical, mental and spiritual make-up while polluting the minds of many with their lies and deceit. This resulted in a series of other subsequent events that further disrupted the evolutionary development of your planet and its inhabitants.
For many thousands of years, Urantia, along with a small group of other planets was cut off from the activities of what is normally considered a ‘friendly and benevolent’ Master Universe. This plunged its inhabitants into lives of darkness and isolation. Efforts were made to assist them by brave human residents and also by those of us in the spiritual realm who could still have contact in limited ways. These heroic individuals tried to maintain some semblance of truth among these isolated populations and to this day, serve to bring loving support and understanding to human residents on your planet.
Throughout this devastating journey, your Creator Son, Christ Michael did not forget those who were caught up in this rebellion. And when the time was right for him to seek full sovereignty of the universe he created, he chose your planet to incarnate on as the child of a normal human couple and to live a human life so that he could further understand the needs, desires and challenges of the human creatures he had created. Among the millions of planets of his creation, he chose yours to be the location where he would fulfill his final requirement toward total sovereignty.
Christ Michael is known in your history to be Jesus of Nazareth and upon the completion of his life on your planet, he not only gained full sovereignty of Nebadon, the Universe he had created, but he also ended the Lucifer Rebellion and created a spiritual circuit called the ‘Spirit of Truth’ that exists now with all residents of your planet as a source you may access that can facilitate your spiritual growth and your understanding of divine truth. He then began the long and arduous journey to repair all that had been altered and destroyed.
I, Machiventa Melchizedek, am from the order of Melchizedeks created by Christ Michael in this universe to provide educators, administrators, and emergency services to those in Nebadon. I have served the populations residing on Urantia and its spiritual realms in many capacities to help correct the harm that was done.
I am indeed mentioned in your biblical scriptures as the high priest who suddenly arrived and lived for several years among the people of Salem as a spiritual uplifter. It was I who educated Abraham and many other members of the surrounding tribes working to keep the truth of our Father as one God alive in the hearts of mankind. It was my mission at the time, to prepare future generations for the impending bestowal of their Creator Son, Christ Michael as Jesus of Nazareth, who would arrive approximately a thousand years later.
Since these early times, your planet has been adjudicated and is now in an active state of rehabilitation. Many have flocked from faraway places of our Master Universe to assist in this process. You are not alone in this struggle to heal from this devastation but are indeed cherished, loved, and supported.
Since he returned from his life on your planet, Christ Michael employed some of the most competent human and spiritual resources and he came up with a plan to bring you back into the fold of the greater Universe. Christ Michael however, has made it clear, that to ensure the success of humankind, you must play an active role in this process.
Though the rebels are no longer present or able to directly influence the lives of those living on your planet, there remains a lingering fingerprint within the cultural DNA of Urantian residents that continues to create havoc with your cultures and your lives. It will take the concerted and unified effort of us all to redirect the trajectory of this planet and its people toward its rightful future.
And so I present myself to you, as your current Planetary Prince, who along with many others, is asking you now, to get to know us, to talk to us, and to seek our direction for ways that you can contribute to the healing of your planet. The circuits that support communication with us have been repaired and we are anxiously waiting for you to seek the tools you need to use them. Now is a crucial time for you to collaborate with us and your fellow inhabitants. This is your opportunity to develop within yourself the desire to love your creator, to love yourself, to love your brothers and sisters and to live a life that is appropriate for you as true sons and daughters of God, the First Source.
There are many internet sites with archives and resources to assist you, and that will provide you with the emotional, mental and spiritual support you need to move forward. Since there are also those who continue to misrepresent facts, we ask that you seek guidance within, that you learn to practice discernment and that you seek truth through trustworthy sources.
It is our hope, to create an environment that is rich in the goodness, beauty, and truth that permeates the Master Universe you live in. It is indeed the desire of our Father, the one true Source and Center, that you seek an eternal life and that you grow in perfection to serve your fellow brothers and sisters toward their quest to do the same. He sent to each of you a fragment of Himself that is present within you now, quietly directing you and waiting patiently for your acknowledgment and communication.
As your older brother, I send my love, my support, my grace and my mercy to all inhabitants of this planet as we move forward on this journey together. We are here for all of you regardless of your race, age, gender, religion, affiliation or secular status. All we ask is that you agree with and support the basic universal values that honor and respect life and that promote equality for all. We ask that you help us provide opportunities for all inhabitants to live an ethical quality of life that coincides with the path and the personal intent of their choosing. And in doing so, we ask that you approach your fellow men, women and children with love, empathy, and compassion.
Know that we are here to help you. We hear your words. We see how you struggle at times and we are already facilitating care and support for you that you may or may not be aware of. Upon your request, I along with many others will find a way to provide you with the answers and direction you desire in your journey to be a part of the healing and growth of your planet.
May you feel the love and compassion that I and so many others pass on to you as we welcome you to this mission.

Prolotheos: “Given the current overall conditions on your world, many are wondering in their hearts: How can Urantia ever reach a global and enduring peace for its inhabitants? The answer is: By becoming dead-set serious about righting its governments’ flaws, correcting their spiritual forgetfulness and by their pressing towards the promotion of human values that will give enduring peace a real chance on your planet. Here are some of the most important issues:

“Human Dignity has two aspects: Bestowed dignity and achieved dignity. The former comes from the humans’ origin. As beings created by God they carry the dignity of being children of God. The latter is human dignity predicted by the exercise of free choice that either chooses, or does not, the will of God. By such an exercise they either honor or despise that God -bestowed dignity. Genuine world peace will come from the acknowledgment of your human brotherhood, by which we are all brothers and sisters in the family of God, as well as by the progressive evolution from racial immaturity that feeds on conflicts to racial enlightenment that recognizes God’s fatherhood for all.

“Human Solidarity besides being a caring affection for all human beings it also speaks about all humans uniting by experiencing this loving feeling for each other. Enduring peace will flourish on Urantia when human solidarity will be a cultural value in its societies as a result of a higher spiritual enlightenment from the ministry of successive epochal bestowals of the Sons of God already scheduled to visit your planet. This will culminate in the Era of Light and Life, a time still far away from your current spiritual stage on Urantia. Today’s human solidarity on Urantia is still embryo-like, sponsored by peace-loving individuals, groups and movements, those involved in philanthropic projects, poverty relief efforts and general social assistance. However, days will come when solidarity will grow robust to make wars totally obsolete for it is incompatible with those loving and caring feelings of those highly spiritualized Urantians.

“Human Unity is the result of the effectual attainment of the already-mentioned conditions. Urantia embarked, after the Lucifer Rebellion, on a disastrous course of licentious self-determination of its still immature racial factions installing a deeply rooted multi-faceted separatism which complete eradication will still take considerable time. Human Unity will spring on Urantia as a planetary reality when there will be one language, one blended race, one planetary government and one coordinated and fair global economy. Unfortunately, global unity efforts on Urantia are yet only meager efforts, still holding back to greed, power, as well as racial and nationalistic pride. Peace requires true unity — spiritual in kind — if it is to last for the generations to come.

“Never on your world was peace treated with such total disregard, considering the high stakes at play, as the current possibility of a nuclear conflict that can easily escalate to global proportions. Stop the madness! Come to your senses. Abandon your nationalistic arrogance and walk towards understanding, dialogue and negotiation. Such a war now will re**rd your social development for centuries, while on the other hand peace is a promise for progress and well-being of Urantia for the centuries ahead. Make human dignity, solidarity and global unity the goals of your planetary advancement, based on the acknowledgment and good use of your spiritual endowments as children of the One God, our Universal Father. Christ Michael: “Dear one, don’t be surprised to hear from the rightful Ruler of this universe. It is I, as Jesus, who speaks to you now as you, a curious creature, are in a small measure somewhat knowledgeable of the world affairs as they are at present and you are worried about the state of certain souls acting contrary God’s Will.

“Let me assure you that the Universal Creator and Upholder of the totality of the cosmos knows all about the comings and goings — the schemings for world domination that are going on. Let me also say, that civilizations have come and gone without a trace, except for being mentioned in some obscure history books, whilst the true history is known in the annals of heaven. It cannot be otherwise, as all inner-most thoughts are known in the minutest detail due to the activities of God’s reflectivity service.

“Suffice it to say, that God’s Power is not limited nor is His Hand shortened to take part in world affairs. Humankind can go so far, but ultimately all things will work out according to God’s plan. This is the planet of my human incarnation and it shall not be diminished at the hands of mere humans, as this planet received the singular honor to host a Son of God. The then-present earthly rulers refused to recognize and accept Him and in their fear, they had Him crucified.

“The world at present will be going through another deciding moment and I am asking all the mortal inhabitants of this planet to defrost their hearts from the curse of fear, which threatens to enslave and engulf the world; to wake up to their higher consciousness and realize that all are born to a higher purpose rather that the insidious power of materialism and instant gratification as is so eloquently portrayed through the means of the controlled media, especially so designed to lull the consciousness of the people to a lower level of being.

“Truly, there are far better things in life than only instant gratification. There is something called ‘prioritizing your time’ and preparing yourselves through heart-felt prayer for the coming ages ahead. There is so much to learn and to do not only in educating yourself, but also in practicing the golden rule of helping each other so that collectively all will help the planet progress, which is sorely needed at this time.

“Do realize that during this period in the history of the planet, she is being insidiously poisoned on all fronts. Her normal evolution is being thwarted by a few, who are usurping rights they misappropriate from the Creator against his Will. This is a blatant disregard of His Will; therefore they stand to lose their soul for all eternity, never mind their station in life or how much money they have gathered.

“So the clarion call goes out to each thinking creature on this planet to engage in heart-felt prayer and listen to the guidance from their Spark from God within and start acting rightly and truthfully with love in your hearts for each other.”

The Beloved: “It is entirely appropriate for you to claim your status as a child of God even though you are still an embryo in the womb of Mother Spirit. You need to know with all your heart, soul, and mind, that you are a most beloved child in God’s universe.

The Father is no respecter of persons and He accepts each and every one as His own. Your Master Jesus, a Son of God, stated you are sons and daughters of God and joint heirs with Him. So, claim your divine birthright. Claim everything that is true, beautiful and good.

Seek first the Kingdom of God within, and grow an abundant spirit-life filled with spiritual energy and healing. This will make your mortal life so much easier to live. To just live for material things and spare nary a thought for the spiritual is like living a life in poverty, and so unbecoming a child of God.

All His goodness and abundance lie unused and undiscovered within you, and to say the least, your embryonic soul would wither and die for lack of nourishment.

Turn within to that secret chamber of your heart where tranquility reigns and seek converse with Me, so I can feed you the deeper insights and values in truth, beauty, and goodness.

Why limit yourself and become a spiritual beggar who needs to supplicate and seek in order to survive, while the greatest riches within lie undiscovered and die from lack of faith and trust in the heavenly overcare?

A human being is so much more than just flesh and bones, and a mind that remains earthbound and never explores the spiritual universe and its bountiful offerings.

Learn to live in the abundance of the Father’s house, and you will realize that there is no separation between you and God. In fact, there never was. Humankind simply separated itself through erroneous thinking by building up an elaborate system of worship around that mindset.

Know that all is one, and the One is all.”

Thought Adjuster: “The spiritual level of this planet reflects the spiritual level of all its inhabitants. The peace and harmony manifested on this world is the result of the peace and harmony that reigns in the heart of each human being on this sphere. The challenge of this time is twofold: first you must understand that whatever happens on this planet is a consequence of your individual and collective actions. All the problems, all the solutions, all the horrors and the beauty are caused by yourselves. It is you who have your hands on the wheel to guide your planetary home towards an age of glory or towards ruin.

All the evils you see around you and, in the news, happen because you allow it. Atrocities, abuses of power, deceptions, ambition, fear, and selfishness are the causes of all the problems you collectively face, and their roots are the actions and decisions of a few human beings. However, these perverse and self-deceived minorities can act with such freedom because of the indolence of their peers. Many have forgotten that all are siblings in the same cosmic family. What affects one will affect the rest. Most people in this world are not the cause of the problems but they are the ones who remain unmoved, passively observing what happens and waiting for someone else to deal with the issues.

And here is the second aspect that should be considered to move into a new era in the history of this world: you must assume the responsibility of controlling your individual and collective destiny. Once none among you can avoid feeling moved by the suffering of your siblings and feel the need to do something for them, a new era will be inaugurated on this world. When each one of you wish for your siblings the same things you wish for yourselves, the gates for true fraternity among people will be open. When all can express with a single voice the truths that are common to all your religions and your highest ideals, the age of light and life will begin.

The most important thing to understand is that an age of light and life is not something that will fall from heaven to change the world. On the contrary, when light and life become a reality in the soul and in the experience of a human being, a step forward toward the spiritual progress of this planet is made. Today you can start living as if you were in a world where the love of the Father is the only law. Allow your decisions and actions to reflect the highest and beautiful ideals you carry within you and let the search for perfection be the goal of your life. If you live this way – completely consecrated to the will of the Father, which is nothing but the desire to become increasingly like God – you will be living in light and life, and you will become a flame that will illuminate the path to those who meet you. And once most of you do this, heaven on earth will be a reality.

The age of light and life may be a very distant event in the future of this world, but it is up to all of you to decide how distant or how difficult this achievement will be. First, ask yourselves, how far is the Celestial Father from your experience if He already lives within you? Will you wait years or centuries to start the work of cultivating your own being with truth, beauty, and goodness, or can you make that decision today? Know that even if you are not sure how to begin, you have plenty of help coming from ‘above’. There are many among you who would be pleased to show you the way and you can also count on the example of Miguel of Nebadon – who lived here as Jesus of Nazareth. His life is the perfect illustration of how a human being can reach the highest peaks of spirituality using only the resources she already possesses – a mind and the Teaching Presence of the Father within her being.”
