What a wonderful evening of food, fellowship, and fun at St. James Episcopal Church!

Last night we gathered for a delicious barbecue dinner, complete with a wonderful assortment of side dishes brought by those attending. After dinner, everyone put their knowledge to the test with a lively trivia contest!

We were especially glad to welcome friends from First Presbyterian Church who joined our St. James family for the evening. It was a great opportunity to enjoy good food, plenty of laughter, a little friendly competition, and fellowship with our neighbors.

A special thank you to our hosts, James and Julie Bailey and Shannon and Amy Raspberry, for organizing such an enjoyable evening. Your hospitality and hard work made it a great success!

A great time was had by all!

Over 65 members of St James and their friends attended the All American celebration Sunday night. It began with a stirring flag retirement ceremony lead by Jan Spitzer where attendees had the opportunity to recognize their relatives and friends who have or are currently serving our country. Following hamburgers and hotdogs Billy Wilbourn lead the group on the piano singing great Patriotic songs. It was a fine way to celebrate our 250th birthday.
