SELFIE DUMP! It has been such a joy to serve in this role this summer!! I am full of gratitude as this season comes to an end. Thank you to every volunteer, student leader, and our staff for making all the fun happen! I couldn’t do it without you!!! I am so incredibly grateful this role was in God’s plan for me and I know that He will continue to work in and through this ministry!

And Elevate friends! Just because the summer is over doesn’t mean the fun at Elevate is coming to an end! Stay tuned for so many exciting things in the works!!!

🎒BLESSING OF THE BACKPACKS will be THIS Sunday morning! Bring your backpack to be prayed over and enjoy church and youth fellowship time together! (And watch some of our youth leaders help with service!)

🥒END OF SUMMER PICKLEBALL! This Sunday! It’s Rachel’s last youth event before she heads back to Auburn and you DONT want to miss it!!! Learn how to play, join the competition to win a prize, or just come hang out with us and watch!!!

Exciting Sunday morning THIS Sunday!

Church T-shirt Sunday - wear your most "vintage" t-shirt for a chance of winning a prize OR wear your new church t-shirt (They came in yesterday. Most folks have picked them up. If you need yours we will have it Sunday morning!)

Breakfast provided 8:45-9:45am (grilled sausage, biscuits, muffins, donuts, other breakfast options)

During worship - Backpack Blessings for our students (of ALL ages) and educators AND our children singing

FUMC Youth!!!

We will be celebrating going back to school and getting back into routines this Sunday, August 2nd with the Blessing of Backpacks during our 10am worship service. Students (along with their backpack) of ALL ages (k-12, college, grad school, tech, etc) as well as educators will be invited to the altar to be blessed and prayed over!

We're also excited for the youth who'll be leading and the children who'll be singing during the service!

The festivities will begin at 8:45am-9:45am with a fellowship breakfast in the downstairs lobby of the Sunday school building!

Fix a plate and hang around for fellowship, or fix a plate and head to Sunday school!

I look forward to seeing you Sunday morning!

The Youth Crew had SO much fun leading our Kids Bible Study this morning! Thank you Darian for leading an outstanding lesson on Lot and Abraham and the importance of choosing good decisions and following God’s path for our lives! Proud of these student leaders and role models!! 🙌🙌

CHANGE OF PLANS FOR TONIGHT!! 🚨‼️

Due to weather we are moving youth to the Youth Room to play Capture the Flag and Underground Church!!! 6:30-8! What a better way to spend this rainy Sunday?

Come hang and PICKLEBALL 🥒🏓 with us tomorrow 6:30-8!!! We are meeting at the courts next to the community center!! Grab some friends and let’s have some fun!!!

Don’t know how to play? Don’t worry! We will have extra paddles and will teach you! We will also have dinner and space to just come hang and watch!

SO SO incredibly proud of Jade and Carter, who got baptized tonight at our First United Methodist Church - Eufaula church baptism. What a blessing to cheer them on as they take their next steps into their walk with Jesus. Both Jade and Carter are such a light for the Lord!! Praise God for these incredible to young people!! God looks SO good on yall!!! 🩵🩵
