Two years ago today, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church voted to call me as their next pastor. Looking back, I’m still humbled and forever grateful for the trust they placed in me and for the opportunity God gave me to serve this church family.

There have been highs and lows, victories and challenges, but through it all, God has remained faithful. Pleasant Hill will always hold a special place in my heart, and I’m thankful for every person, every prayer, every lesson, and every opportunity to preach the Word and serve His people.

Two years later, I can still say: Thank you, Lord, for calling me here. I am forever grateful. ❤️🙏

“To God be the glory, great things He has done.”

I am looking forward to year 3.

Resolution to Change the Monthly Business Meeting Schedule

Pleasant Hill Baptist Church
Eufaula, Alabama

WHEREAS, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church desires to maintain a consistent schedule for its weekly Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Meeting; and

WHEREAS, the congregation recognizes that holding the monthly business meeting on Wednesday evening may interfere with the regular Bible Study and Prayer Meeting, as well as other commitments within our church family and community; and

WHEREAS, the congregation believes that establishing a separate evening for the monthly business meeting will provide greater consistency for worship, Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and the orderly conduct of church business;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the congregation of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church hereby moves the regularly scheduled monthly business meeting from the Wednesday following the first Sunday of each month to the first Tuesday following the first Sunday of each month, with the meeting to be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Wednesday evenings shall remain dedicated to the church’s regular Bible Study and Prayer Meeting unless otherwise announced by the church.

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that by unanimous decision of the congregation, this change shall become effective September 1, 2026, and shall remain the regular schedule for monthly business meetings until amended by future action of the congregation.

Henceforth, by unanimous decision of the congregation, may it be so ordered.
