🍇 TENANTS OF GOOD CHARACTER
📖 Matthew 21:33–46

In the Parable of the Tenants, Jesus tells of a landowner who carefully prepared a vineyard and then entrusted it to tenants. When harvest time came, he sent his servants to collect what belonged to him—but instead of responding with gratitude and faithfulness, the tenants responded with selfishness, rejection, and violence.

This parable reminds us of an important truth: We are tenants, not owners.

Everything we have—our time, talents, resources, opportunities, families, ministries, and influence—has been entrusted to us by God. The question is not simply, “What has God given me?” The greater question is, “What kind of fruit am I producing with what He has entrusted to me?”

Tenants of good character recognize the Owner. They are faithful with His vineyard. They produce fruit that honors Him. And when God speaks, they listen rather than resist.

Jesus said, “The kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.” — Matthew 21:43

God is looking for more than appearances. He desires lives that produce the fruit of His Kingdom—faithfulness, humility, obedience, mercy, justice, love, and integrity.

May we never become so comfortable in the vineyard that we forget who owns it.

🙏 Lord, make us tenants of good character. Help us faithfully care for everything You have placed in our hands and produce fruit that brings honor and glory to You.
