Our church is saddened to hear of Mrs. Helen Brooks's death. We will always remember her and her fiery personality! However, there is some peace in knowing she is no longer in pain and has gained her heavenly reward!

Rest in peace, Mrs. Brooks! (or MawMaw Brooks as many people called her!) Please continue to pray for her family and friends in the days ahead.

We, at Northside, are sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Jean O’Fallon-Seamans. Mrs. Jean was a member of our church for many years until her health required her to move away. She will be dearly missed by her friends, family, and fellow church members here at the church.

🛑 ATTENTION 🛑 Northside Baptist Church will hold a revival next Sunday through Wednesday! Bro. John Compton will preach the first revival message, Bro. Gary Massey will preach Monday evenings, Bro. Leslie Yates will preach Tuesday evenings and Bro. Anthony Holiman will end the revival messages on Wednesday evening!

Each service will begin at 6:00 P.M. Please join us for some wonderful revival messages!

Today is Holy Saturday. Jesus is dead in the tomb, and Satan is laughing thinking he has won. But, oh what a surprise he would get tomorrow morning!

Come celebrate that blessing with us tomorrow on Easter morning at 7 a.m.! Everyone is invited to come and enjoy great food and fellowship!

You see, at just the right time,when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

Let’s remember what happened on this Friday. The pain, agony, and suffering our Savior went through for all of us. But, let’s not also forget what would happen on Sunday. Our God is still alive and at work today.

Also, don’t forget about our Easter Sunrise Service this Sunday morning with breakfast following! Please come and enjoy Easter Sunday and watching the sunrise while singing hymns and fellowshipping (on the parking lot), if the weather allows! All are welcome!!

Join us Easter Sunday (April 4th) for our annual sunrise service. If the weather permits, we will hold our services outside on the parking lot. After services breakfast will be served!

We have made the decision to cancel church services until further notice. We hate to do this, but the coronavirus is getting closer and closer. Also, most of our members are “medically frail,” and they are most likely to be infected. Stay safe and God bless!
