It is with great sorrow that I inform you of the passing of my husband of 31 years, Sim Boddie, and yet, I rejoice in the Lord my God who said, "in all things give thanks." I give thanks for the man of God, for his leadership in our family, for the love that we shared, for our serving the Lord together down through the years, for the his tenacity, the good fight he fought, for the privilege of raising our children together, for the many lives that he has touched, for being dependable, and for how the Lord let him go out in peace, for a life well lived, for his finishing his course, and for the grand entrance into heaven, for I do believe, he heard our LORD say "Well done thou good and faithful servant, enter into the Joy of the LORD." And most of all, I give thanks the Lord Jesus Christ, who made it all possible.

I declare this on behalf of my darling husband, whom I loved dearly.
