On Sunday, we'll be starting a new sermon series on the book of Philippians called "Count It All Joy." We'll be talking about the joy of community this Sunday. We start our small group study at 9:45 AM, and we will follow up with worship at 11 AM. Come join us!

We are looking forward to next Sunday. It will be our new pastors first day at Shirley Creek Baptist Church. We are excited for our new journey with Pastor Brent Daniels, and his wife Tricia Mangum-Daniels. God has blessed us again.

Today, we said good by to our interim Pastor of eight months Darryl Smith. God sent him to us when we needed him most, and we have grown to love him. We will miss you, Pastor Darryl. Thank you for all you have done for Shirley Creek Baptist Church. We will be praying for you, as God leads you to bless another church. We had a potluck meal after services, in Pastor Darryl's honor. We couldn't let him leave hungry, without another few more pieces of fried chicken.😃🐓🐓

Today, We had our meet and greet for the new Pastor, Brent Daniels , his wife Tricia Mangum-Daniels , and their daughter Kayleigh. Had such a good visit with them. Looking forward to what God will do for our church thru Brent and Tricia. Exciting days ahead.
Thank you, ladies for supplying all the good food. Great job, as always.

We are excited to share, that our Pastor Search Committee has come to a decision for our new Pastor.
We will be having a meet and greet for Brent Daniels , and his wife Tricia Mangum-Daniels, on Sat. 8/15, starting at 10am to?? Finger foods will be served. Come join us in welcoming Brent, and Tricia. Bring your family and friends.

A few of the girls got together, and went to the Dairy Mart in Broaddus, this afternoon for Cindy's birthday. We all came out full as ticks. Sure was good, plus we got some Blue Bell ice cream cones for dessert, and great fellowship
