Tabernacle Campground & Campmeeting Mark your calendars for the 199th Annual Tabernacle Campmeeting

✝️ Tabernacle Campmeeting 2027
✝️ July 10-18, 2027 What is Campmeeting all about?

Campmeeting is a uniquely American institution with its roots dating back to the early 1800’s. With the rapid growth of America and the boundary lines of our nation moving westward, revivals became the primary means of Christianizing the growing and expanding population. As the summer harvest was completed, families gathered together and built “brush arbors” where they would hold Christian meeting

s, sing and catch up on the latest news with each other’s families. This is the tradition from which modern campmeeting has come. Tabernacle Campmeeting has not strayed far from these beginnings. While very few of us have anything to do with a “summer harvest” we all still gather once a year to hold Christian meetings, sing and catch up on the latest news with each other’s families! Campmeeting is open to everyone! Though there are ties to the United Methodist Church, we consider ourselves to be non-denominational and we welcome anyone that’s interested in studying the Word of God and learning more about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Church services are held 3 times daily, with the attire being much less than Sunday best (that means casual). There’s a dinner on the grounds the first Saturday night, a community day lunch on Thursday afternoon, a homemade ice cream supper on Thursday night and Youth Night on the last Saturday. We still worship in an Arbor – not a “Brush Arbor” – but an Arbor nonetheless. The floors are sawdust, and the air is “conditioned” by ceiling fans. A special kind of fellowship takes place around this Arbor; without the modern conveniences that we are all use to in our home church; it seems that you are able to get closer to God in an Arbor. At Tabernacle Campmeeting, you will pay no admission charge. No one will ask you to buy hundreds of dollars worth of materials or books. But your experience at campmeeting can definitely change your life! We invite you to attend Tabernacle Campmeeting. Come and enjoy the good food, the fellowship and the presentation of God’s word in our very own “Brush Arbor”!

As we close the 198th Annual Tabernacle Campmeeting, our hearts are full of gratitude.

What an incredible week it has been! We were blessed to welcome so many people who gathered under the arbor to worship, pray, fellowship, and continue a tradition that has been faithfully carried on for generations.

The three crosses standing watch over the path to the arbor serve as a fitting image to close this year's meeting. They remind us of the hope, grace, and faith that have drawn people to this sacred place for nearly two centuries.

Thank you to everyone who attended, served, prayed, sang, preached, and helped make this week so special. We are already looking forward to gathering again next year for the 199th Annual Tabernacle Campmeeting!

Until then, may God bless you and keep you.

This is what it’s all about! There is no greater joy than seeing a young heart respond to God's call. Moments like these remind us why we pray, serve, and share the Gospel. Heaven rejoices over every soul that comes to Christ, and this week we rejoice with her. ❤️🙏

What a joy and a blessing to have Rhonda Richardson sing at tonight’s service! Her passion for the Lord was contagious, and it was a wonderful way to kick off Thursday night.

Our most beloved tradition: the Thursday night worship service followed by the Ice Cream Supper. It is always the highlight of the week! The dozens of homemade ice cream flavors shared means there’s something for everyone! Whether you like more adventurous ice cream flavors like salted caramel pecan, lemon ice box, or banana pudding ice cream; or more classic vanilla, strawberry, or orange sherbert it is all ready to be sampled!

There is still time to join us this week! Services are held under the arbor at 10:30am, 1:30pm, and 7:30pm with the final service on Sunday morning.

BIG congratulations to the winners of the 2026 Campmeeting Olympics: the 🧡ORANGE🧡 team!

The Campmeeting Olympics are our annual “field day” event for the children on the campground. Kids ages 4 and up come together for some fun and a little friendly competition. It’s a blast for the olympians and spectators alike!
