Next is Pastor Monica! Weāre so grateful for her! Letās get to know her:
āļøCoffee order: none - not a coffee drinker. Love hot chocolate
š Favorite food: spaghetti
šµ Current favorite song: The Lord will Provide (I will cry everytime)
š Favorite Bible verse: Isaiah 43:18-19, āBut forget all that-it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
š Something that always makes me laugh: my dogs Rocco & Max
šļø Dream vacation:
Besides the beach, Iāve always felt deeply drawn to visiting the Holocaust concentration campsāto stand in those places, to honor the lives that were lost, and experience firsthand a history I never want to become just words on a page.
š¬ Favorite movie/show: The Chosen
š§ Iāve attended EstillNaz: 10 years
š Favorite part of serving at church: Watching people discover that there is a place for them in the family of God ā especially people who may have believed church wasnāt for them. This church is such a blessing to so many!
š One thing God has been teaching me lately: Obedience is more than simply going where God sends me; He also wants my heart surrendered while Iām there. That where God may be asking me to go is not always just for others - thereās something for me to learn and grow in giving my yes.
ā¤ļø What ministry I serve in & why I love serving in this way: Since August of 2024 I have been serving as Lead over the EstillNaz Jail Ministry. Serving the men & women of the jail and staying connected to them even after their release. I also love to lead Bible studies, disciple others, womenās ministry through Stripped Away, and reaching people who may feel forgotten, overlooked, or like they donāt belong. I love serving in these places because I have seen firsthand that God meets us in the broken places. There is something incredibly powerful about watching someone realize that their story isnāt over, their past doesnāt disqualify them, and Jesus still calls them His. I love going into places where hope feels scarce and reminding people that God is already there!
