💧 A Beautiful Day at the Lake ✝️

Sunday was a beautiful and memorable day as we celebrated the baptism of Aria Davis and Alyeska Hawley. đź’™
Pastor Philip McAbee had the privilege of baptizing these two young ladies in the lake, surrounded by family, friends, and their church family.
There is something especially meaningful about being baptized in the waters of a lake. Away from the walls of the church, surrounded by God’s creation, the water becomes a beautiful reminder of what baptism represents — dying to our old life, being raised to new life in Christ, and publicly declaring our faith in Jesus.
As these young ladies stepped into the water, they took a beautiful step of faith and obedience. Their baptism is not the end of their journey, but the beginning of a life of following Christ, growing in faith, and sharing His love with others. 🙏
“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” — Romans 6:4
