Church Family, The HR Team, Deacons and Pastor Frank are pleased to rcommend Christopher Nelson II to fill the open associate pastor position at FBCE. Chrisopher graduated Magne Cum Laude from Baptist University Florida, last December. He is currently finishing a 1 year residency program with Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany Ga. (Yes the same Sherwood Baptist that brought us such great films as Facing the Giants and Fireproof etc). Previously he served as an intern at First Baptist Chipley Fl. where he was ordained into the ministry in June of 2025. Chris met his wife Emily while attending FBC and they are celebrating the recent birth of their first child. This Saturday June 13th from 3-5 you will have the opportunity to drop by the church fellowship house at your convenience to get to know Chris and his family. Sunday June 14th he will be preaching in the morning service and immediately following the service there will be a special called business meeting for the congregation to vote on offically calling Chris to the position of Assiciate Pastor, starting July 1st 2026. Please keep this wonderful family in your prayers as they navigate this potential move and new beginning.
