This Sunday we explore the Fruit (or virtues) of the Spirit. The virtues that Paul shares with the Galatians are meant to remind them of who they are and how they should aspire to live their salvation in Christ. Paul reminds them that the fruit of the Spirit shows them how to live this new kind of self-giving freedom: through love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Join us for worship and fellowship on Sunday morning at 10:15am.

The Gospel of John gives Jesus’ disciples one of the most beautiful portrayals of who Jesus is: “I am the Good Shepherd. And the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” In only a few words, we can hear the heart of who he is, and I hope we can feel our own hearts warmed knowing we, his sheep, are Beloved.

Join us Sunday as we explore Psalm 23 and the Good Shepherd, and what they mean in our own faith and life.

Where are we going? What are we doing? Who are we meant to be? And for what final purpose?

So much of what we look for in the scriptures is Jesus’ story, but the Emmaus story also draws us closer to our story as his followers as to where we are going, and why of what we are doing, and who we are to become—on the journey and beyond the journey. Join us Sunday as we walk with the first disciples as we learn to see and know Jesus.

On the first day of the week after the crucifixion, Jesus appeared to the disciples, who had locked themselves in the house out of fear of the religious authorities. Closed doors never stop Jesus, but they do stop humans. Whether the doors are physical doors that imply “you can’t enter here,” or metaphorical doors that say, “if you don’t believe like us then you cannot belong.” As Easter people, we are called to open doors that invite people in, physically and spiritually, so they can come and see that Jesus’ love, mercy, and grace are real. Join us on Sunday as we worship, fellowship, and grow in faith together so we can be Easter people for our world.
