Ascending the Summit🏔️

Earlier this month, Marist Young Adults from the United States and Canada gathered for the Marist Young Adult Summit at Esopus. It was a weekend of slowing down, reflecting on the past year, and dreaming about what lies ahead. What a gift to share this with each other!

We are grateful for this wonderful community God has given us, and for the ability to start 2026 together! ☃️

Tonight, Fernando Mendoza ’22, alumnus of Christopher Columbus High School, was named Heisman Trophy winner and the entire Marist family is celebrating.

Formed in the Marist tradition, Fernando’s journey reflects the values we strive to instill in our young Marists every day: strength in family spirit, a commitment to excellence, humility in success, and leadership rooted in faith and service. His achievement is not just a personal milestone, it’s a testament to the power of a Marist education that forms hearts as much as minds.

To Fernando, his family, and all our fellow Marists in the Columbus community: thank you for showing the world what it looks like when talent is rooted in faith, simplicity and love.

Congratulations, Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza! We are all proud of you!

✨ Happy Montagne Day! ✨

Today, we celebrate the encounter between St. Marcellin Champagnat and Jean-Baptiste Montagne, the moment that inspired Marcellin to found the Marist Brothers!🩵

Members of our Marist family visited the very site of the Montagne encounter in La Valla, France as part of the Marist Always pilgrimage in 2024.

May the spirit of Montagne remind us all of the transformative power of presence, compassion, and faith in action!🌿

Jumping for joy remembering how great our young adults were at the 2025 Marist Youth Leadership Camp 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♂️🤸‍♀️🤸‍♂️

Thank you to all of the Young Adults who came from all parts of the country to help with leadership camp! Throughout the week we celebrated birthdays, led small groups, and worked together to make it the best week possible for our campers!

Thank you to every person on the team, from the kitchen to the maintenance crew, for making this years camp possible! Couldn’t have done it without you☺️💛
