Have you met Forrest?? He is the new Elevate Junior High Pastor, bringing energy and heart with him!
Forrest, his wife Katie, and their kids Fulton (3), and twins Hadley and Sage (11 months) have been part of North Coast Church San Marcos / Escondido for 5 years. He says their Life Group, and the steady, life-giving community there, has been the biggest part of their time at North Coast.
Forrest has served as a Thrive High School leader for years. He is stepping into his new role at Elevate with a clear sense of purpose. He says it does not feel like “just a job” to him. It feels deeply fulfilling. He genuinely loves being part of moments where students encounter Jesus in real and personal ways.
Outside of ministry, Forrest is an outdoors and creative kind of person. He loves photography and videography, woodworking and building, camping and hiking, music, computers, disc golf, pickleball, baking, graphic design, running, shooting, board games, lawn care, mountain biking, and skiing. If it involves creating, building, or being outside, he is all in.
Fun fact: Forrest acted in infomercials as a child. A lesser-known talent: he can write silly rhyming songs on the fly, basically freestyle but with a comedic twist.
His favorite way to connect with God is through private worship, and he stays grounded in his faith by spending time with people who challenge and inspire him spiritually.
