Word of Life Worship Center-Escondido What We Believe:

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He was crucified and buried. We believe faith is acting out on the Word of God.

Word of Life Worship Center is a family based church spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through out the world and bringing the relationship of Christ to Escondido, CA On the third day, He arose from the dead and ascended to heaven where He sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty until His enemies become His footstool. We believe in the rapture, that the dead in Christ will rise first,

and those who are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet Jesus in the air. We believe salvation is obtained through repentance of sin, faith in His blood, and receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. We believe that after death, eternal life begins either in heaven or in hell; where one spends eternity is based on one's decision to live according to God's Word and commandments or to rebel against God. We believe in the indwelling and the baptism of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. We believe the Bible is the written Word of God inspired by God. We believe in divine healing which is the restoration of health to one who believes and acts on God's Word and that Jesus is the Healer. We further believe that by the stripes of Jesus we are healed! We believe in tithing and bringing offerings into the local church. We believe in giving alms, and caring for the poor, sick, homeless, and otherwise unfortunate. We believe in baptizing in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and in Jesus' name. We believe in the name of Jesus, and the authority invested in that name.

There was a snake that crawled over a sharp saw and was cut. In anger the snake wrapped the saw with its thick body and proceeded to squeeze the life out of the saw.
With each angry squeeze it felt more pain but continued because it wasn’t going to let the saw get away with the pain it caused it. The snake, refusing to let go of the saw, eventually died; not knowing the whole time, he needed to let go of the initial pain and focus on its future and where it was going. Instead, the snake unfortunately lost its life and didn’t even see it coming.

Control your anger, forgive those that hurt you, and don’t give people or things power over you. It can eventually kill you.
