Today’s Exhortation Highlights:

“Jesus Christ in the Now” 9/6/26

•Sometimes our faith and worship can focus so much on Jesus being in our future…that we can forget to examine his role in our life right now today.👑
~Is his presence *real* to you? Impacting your decisions and behavior?

•Ephesians 1 —> “A plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in Christ…”⏳
~Jesus is not “sitting next to God doing nothing” while he is waiting for the time to return to establish the Kingdom.
~Gathering, *actively* watching, redeeming, forgiving, loving, interceding, uniting

Jesus is our future judge and eternal ruler…but he is also our King already today. When you find yourself sinking in the storms of life, call out to Jesus. Talk to him. Ask for his presence and his help. He is right there next to you, and he knows you very well.⛵️⚓️

~There are many different ways to play a role of love and service within your spiritual family and the ecclesia!🛠️

~By going back and forth between what love *is* and what love *isn’t* within the passage, it creates a more “3D” image for us to fully comprehend.💎

Today’s Exhortation Highlights:

“Mental Resilience” 8/16/26

•In any kind of journey…all that matters is focusing on the next step in front of you.👣

•Isaiah 40:28-31 🌎
~Life moves us all through seasons and circumstances.
~Some seasons of struggles are more visible to others, and some are internal but equally hard.

•”All feelings are valid, but that doesn’t mean they are all *right*.”🫯
~A repeated thought becomes a Belief.
~Proverbs 3:5-6
~Philippians 4:8

Mental resilience comes through an active change to your own thought process. It’s not as simple as “toughing it out” or “pushing through the pain” —it’s knowing where you’re going and who is in your corner. It’s allowing for *overwhelming* seasons and days along the way.

It’s knowing that you can’t control everything…but you trust the One who does.🕯️

~The importance of the “inward appearance” from his start
~The wisdom of a shepherd; the bravery of a soldier; the comfort of a musician

•One of David’s most exceptional qualities was his faith!🔥
~In the face of fear, loss, scorn, threats, etc

How easily are you able to let God stay in charge of your life and wait for His plan to work out at this time in your life? David did not ever seize matters into his own hands.👏🏼

Trust. Pray. Wait (actively). Glorify.🌟

~How often does our Heavenly Father watch us running full-speed around our life moving from one busy task to the next as a toddler does?

•”Be Still” = “Raphah” (Hebrew) = “to let go, drop, relax, or cease striving”✨
~God is not asking us to do *nothing* —He is reminding us to move through our lives with both patience and intention.

As we go through this next week, let us put an element of this type of stillness into practice.🪷
