THE FLOWERS ON THE ALTAR are given by Kathy Grill in celebration of her 75th birthday!
WE WELCOME OUR GUESTS: We are glad to have you worship with us today. We ask our guests to please sign our guest register. If you have any questions, please ask any member or Pastor.
IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE: that is interested in learning more about Salem, please give contact information to Pastor Doletzky.
EVANGELISM THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK: Today we heard the LORD tell his people, 18”Put these words of mine in your hearts and in your soul, and tie them on your wrists as signs and as symbols on your forehead. 19Teach them to your children by talking about them when you sit in your house and when you travel on the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” (Deuteronomy 11:18-19). People want things to go well in their lives here and forever in eternity. All that is needed is found in God’s Word, and the LORD who loves us the most will direct our ways best through His Word. Share the priceless wisdom God has given you through His Word so that others may hear about the great things Jesus has done for them and the wisdom He gives!
THOSE TO KEEP IN OUR PRAYERS: Joan Maatta, Judy Hubert, Janice Lancour, David Herbst Jr, Ken Leinberger, Lisa Nord and Mary Hupy. We pray for all of our shut-ins. We pray for our Synod and our missionaries. We pray for our troops, our leaders in the congregation, and in our city, state and nation. We pray for our straying members and those who don’t know Jesus.
WE CONTINUE OUR NEW BIBLE CLASS TODAY! Irreconcilable: A Study of the Pharisees and Their Conflict With Jesus. Who were the Pharisees, and why did they clash with Jesus so often? Come as we continue this study about their origins and their opposition of Jesus. We will look at their teachings and how we still have to fight some of the same false ideas the Pharisees had today. Each person who attends will receive a personal study booklet as we cover these topics over the course of 11 different lessons.
THE NEW Meditations: are out and ready to be picked up. Please think about giving one to someone who could use encouragement from God’s Word.
THE NEW CHURCH CALENDAR for June is out and ready to be picked up.
THE NEW Forward in Christ for June is out and ready to be picked up and shared.
SPECIAL FELLOWSHIP FOR OUR HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES: We will be having a special fellowship after the second worship service today. This fellowship is in honor of our high school graduates Brian Boutilier and Julia Nault. Come and wish them the Lord’s richest blessings as we celebrate this milestone in their lives.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY: This summer, we are going to have Vacation Bible School for three days in July. Tuesday, July 21st through Thursday, July 23rd. All children from 3 years old through 8th grade are welcome. We will also have a Bible Class for Adults led by Pastor each evening as well. We plan on starting at 5 p.m. More details will be coming as we get closer, but please set these dates aside. If you would like to help in any way (teacher, helper, food for the kids, games, crafts, etc.) please let Pastor or Aylssa Sovey know. Thanks so much!
