FOOD DISTRIBUTION TODAY!

Southside Freewill Baptist Church will be partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee to distribute food TUESDAY June 2nd from 4-6 PM. Due to the limited amount of food available, there will be a limit of 2 households per vehicle. Please have your trunk or back seat empty so we can have a place to put your food. The parking lot will not be open until 2:30 PM please do not come before 2:30 PM as that is when our traffic volunteers will arrive. No income information is required just your name and number of people in your household. We look forward to serving our community! SUMMER FEEDING INFORMATION FOR MONDAY, JUNE 1, 2026:
Second Harvest Food Bank is working to fill the gap for children under the age of 18 whose families need help securing meals during the summer.

Each child will receive a box containing 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches for the week. Children do not have to be present.

Southside Freewill Baptist Church will be having their Vacation Bible School starting Monday June 8th – 12th beginning at 6:30PM and ending at 8:30PM each night. Our theme this year is “What a Mess” – The good news is, Jesus loves messy people! Whether you're 5, 45, or 105, we all have our own messes. What a Mess! VBS is about how Jesus deals with our messes, our sins, mistakes, and weaknesses. All the while, we are going to have lots of messy fun, with messy snacks, games, crafts, and more! We will have music, games and snacks each night. All ages welcome. We will also have an adult class so please come bring your kids and stay for the adult bible class! We will be running our van service so if you or your child needs a ride to and from Bible School, please text “VBS Van Request” with your name, the child’s name and address for pick up to 423-388-8621 and someone will get back to you about what time the pickup is scheduled.
