Day 1: Beyond Moments to Consistent Connection
Reading: Romans 5:17; 2 Corinthians 5:21

Devotional:

God's intention for your spiritual life is not a rollercoaster of highs and lows, but a steady reign in life through Christ Jesus. You are the righteousness of God—not because of what you do, but because of what Jesus has already done. This righteousness is your position, your access, your authority in God's kingdom. It works even when you don't feel it, even on bad days. Like David facing Goliath or Peter declaring Christ's identity, you have moments of encounter with God. But God wants more for you than occasional encounters. He desires consistent, daily communion where you walk in His presence continually. Your spiritual sweet spot begins with understanding who you are in Christ—righteous, accepted, and deeply loved.

Reflection: Do you view your relationship with God as occasional moments or consistent connection? What would change if you truly believed your righteousness is secure in Christ?

Day 5: Deciding to Honor
Reading: Romans 12:9-18; Philippians 2:3-11

Devotional: Honor is decided, not deserved. We live in a culture obsessed with self-promotion, personal rights, and demanding respect. But Kingdom living flips this upside down. Christ, though worthy of all honor, humbled Himself to death on a cross. He assigned value to us when we had nothing to offer. Now He calls us to do likewise—to honor others not because they've earned it but because He commands it. This is countercultural and costly. It means prioritizing relationships over hobbies, people over possessions, and eternal investments over temporary pleasures. Our lives are vapors; what we do with our relationships matters eternally. Today, make three practical decisions: identify your true priorities, invest time in someone you've neglected, and choose to see others as God sees them.

Day 4: Breaking Free from Offense
Reading: Matthew 18:21-35; Ephesians 4:31-32

Devotional: Offense is poison we drink hoping someone else will die. It imprisons us while the offender walks free. Jesus experienced ultimate offense—betrayal, mockery, crucifixion—yet chose forgiveness. Offense is always a choice, regardless of how we've been wounded. You cannot honor what offends you, and unresolved offense blocks your ability to receive from God and connect with others. Perhaps you've experienced abuse, betrayal, or deep hurt. God doesn't minimize your pain, but He offers freedom through forgiveness. This isn't about trusting the person again or pretending the wound doesn't exist; it's about releasing the bitterness that's holding you captive. Today, identify one offense you're carrying and surrender it to God. Choose freedom over familiar pain.
