Victory Is JESUS Fellowship

Victory Is JESUS Fellowship Victory Is Jesus is a small gathering of believers that meet, preach, and fellowship for about an hour on Sunday morning @10:00.

We open with prayer and a couple of gospel songs. The most important part of the service is the preaching of the Word Of God.

We didn’t need screens to make memories.

We had muddy shoes, scraped knees, and sunsets that lasted forever.

We built worlds with sticks, chased frogs like treasure, and came home covered in dirt and laughter.

That was childhood—simple, wild, and full of wonder.

No batteries.
No Wi-Fi.
No updates.

Just imagination, freedom, and the kind of joy that still lives in our hearts.

Some of the best days of our lives were the messiest ones.

To the moms raising boys:

Yes you’re raising sons, but that’s not all.
It’s much deeper than that.

You’re raising future husbands, protectors, fathers and men that will grow up to become kind, protective gentle memebers of society.

So hug them when they’re sad, wipe their tears, comfort them. Teach them emotions are what make you strong.

Because you’re responsible for raising a kind, gentle and loving man.

Don’t take that responsibility lightly.

Morals used to mean something.

04/08/2026

We had less, but lived more.

We grew up a little wild.

A little fearless.

And maybe… a little crazy.

Metal lawn darts flying through the air.
Roller skates on rough concrete.
Experiments that could go wrong in seconds.

And sometimes… they did.

But that’s how we learned.

Not from warnings.
Not from manuals.

From experience.

From scraped knees.
From small mistakes.
From lessons that stayed with us forever.

We figured things out on our own.

We took risks.
We pushed limits.

And it made us stronger.

More aware.
More careful.

Because we understood consequences…
not just heard about them.

Those days weren’t perfect.
But they were real.

And they shaped us into who we are today.

Tough.
Resilient.
And a little wiser from the hard way.

We didn’t grow up on soft foam playgrounds.
We grew up on gravel.

Hard metal slides.
Hot enough to burn your legs in the summer.

And those merry-go-rounds…
the faster they spun, the better.

You held on tight.
Or you didn’t.

And if you flew off…
you got back up.

That’s just how it was.

No helmets.
No warning signs.

Just laughter.
And a little bit of pain sometimes.

But that’s what made it fun.

You learned balance.
You learned courage.

You learned not everything in life is padded.

And somehow…
those were the best days of all.

Life taught the lesson, not mom.

We didn’t have cameras watching every move.
We had people.

Real people.
Sitting on porches.
Watching the street like it actually mattered.

Everyone knew everyone.
And if you didn’t belong…
someone noticed.

There was always that one neighbor.
A little nosy.
A little tough.
But you felt safer because of them.

Doors weren’t always locked tight.
Kids ran in and out of houses like they were their own.

And somehow…
the whole street felt like family.

Now we have apps.
Notifications.
Cameras on every corner.

But it still feels quieter.
Colder.
More distant.

Because safety wasn’t just about protection.
It was about connection.

And maybe…
that’s the part we miss the most.

04/07/2026

You remember when the only "connection" you needed was a best friend and a sunny creek bank.

Teaching the next generation that doing right is always the best path.
