Jesus paid a very dear price so that every man, woman, boy and girl could have the opportunity to receive salvation through him, as God ordained.
He sacrificed his life while he lived on the earth, by serving others and denying his own will to do the will of his Father, so that he could be a spotless sacrificial lamb for God by shedding his blood on the cross of Calvary for the sins of all men.
God raised him from the dead on the third day, making him both Lord and Christ to the church, the Body of Christ.
And even now, he is still serving, for he is a faithful high priest that ever lives to make intercession for his brethren and to become a Savior to all those that will accept him by receiving Acts 2:38-42 in their lives.
