TONIGHT-Thursday, June 18th we are officially launching IGNITE Thursdays with our Youth, Parent, and Youth Leader Meet & Greet!

Time: 5:30 PM–7:30 PM

Come learn more about the vision for our youth ministry, meet our leaders, ask questions, share your ideas and get connected! Youth, parents, guardians and youth leaders are all encouraged to attend.

We are excited to begin this new season as we continue moving from Dreams to Destiny through faith, fellowship, leadership, choir, dance and Bible study.

We look forward to seeing everyone this evening!

Fresh produce, pantry staples, bread, cereals, canned goods, and more are available while supplies last.

Everyone deserves access to nutritious food and a caring community.

Whether preaching from the pulpit, mentoring others, casting vision, or serving behind the scenes, Pastor Cook leads with passion, integrity, and a genuine desire to see lives transformed.

What a day!

Day 1 of the Dreams 2 Destiny Football Camp is officially in the books, and our hearts are full. Seeing so many young people show up excited, engaged, and ready to learn reminded us exactly why we do this.

A huge thank you to our parents for trusting us with your children this weekend. Thank you to our volunteers, coaches, and speakers who gave their time, energy, and wisdom to pour into these young people. This camp simply doesn’t happen without you.

One of the best parts of the day was watching the campers connect, learn, laugh, and begin to understand that this weekend is about more than football. It’s about character, discipline, leadership, and believing in what’s possible for their future.

And if you think they were excited yesterday, you should see them today! Day 2 is underway, and the campers are on the field!

We’re looking forward to another great day of learning, growth, and football.

Meet us today at Second Baptist Church as we officially kick off the Dreams 2 Destiny Football Camp Weekend with an 11:00 AM special press conference, as we prepare to welcome 150 Erie youth in grades 3–6 for an unforgettable experience June 12–14, 2026!

Dreams 2 Destiny is about more than football. Through literacy, leadership development, athletics, and character building, we are investing in the next generation and helping young people discover their potential both on and off the field.

We are grateful for the incredible support of our community partners, including GECAC Greater Erie Community Action Committee, Donatos Pizza, and Wegmans, whose partnership is helping make this opportunity possible for local youth.

Join us as we empower young people to dream bigger, work harder, and build a brighter future!

Today, we begin our celebration of two years of visionary leadership, faithful service, and unwavering commitment to God’s people as we honor Rev. Darrell K. Cook during our 2nd Pastoral Anniversary!

Our theme, “A Visionary Leader Equipping God’s People for Impact,” reflects Pastor Cook’s heart for ministry. Through his leadership, he has challenged us to grow deeper in our faith, serve our community with purpose, and embrace God’s vision for greater impact.

We invite you to join us as the celebration begins tonight at 6:00 PM with special guest preacher Rev. Anthony G. Harris and the Shiloh Baptist Church family of Erie.

Let’s come together to thank God for a pastor who continues to lead with vision, integrity, and a passion for changing lives and creating impact.

This Sunday, we begin a brand-new sermon series, Dreams to Destiny, with a powerful opening message: “Built for More” from Genesis 37:5-11, 19-20.

Joseph was given a dream from God, but before he ever stepped into his destiny, he faced misunderstanding, opposition, rejection, and obstacles that could have convinced him to give up. Yet what others tried to destroy, God used to develop.

The same God who gave Joseph a dream is still working in the lives of His people today.

Come and be reminded that your story isn’t over. God isn’t finished with you, and He isn’t finished with our city!

You were not created to simply survive. You were created to fulfill God’s purpose for your life.
