St. Mark the Evangelist, Mt. Calvary, and St. James will become a blended parish family on July 9th. In a short time our "Forward Together Committee," cochaired by Deacon Dave Jacquel and Adam Ladaika, will provide us with the means and opportunities to become a strong, united and vibrant parish family. The first step to this goal is the transferring of the 9:30 Mass from St. James to St. Mark's Church, 695 Smithson Avenue. This will happen on Sunday, July 14th. This time was chosen as a result of a vote taken by the parishioners of Mt. Calvary and St. Mark's. Whether at the St. Mark Campus or the St. James Campus, all are welcome and encouraged to share their time and talents for the good of our newly enlarged parish.

Just wanted to let you know that after the June 9th deadline to return the Mass time option post card, we received 177 responses. With 151 choices for the 9:30 am Mass and only 26 for the 11:30 am Mass. I believe it is safe to say that the future Mass time at St. Mark the Evangelist will be at 9:30 am Sunday morning, starting after the July 9th merger date.
