hey loves :)

spending lots of purposeful time with the Lord today & wanted to share with you a song that has really helped me to grow in my faith & lead me in sharing what God has done in my life.

“If I told you my story
You would hear hope, that wouldn't let go
And if I told you my story
You would hear love that never gave up
And if I told you my story
You would hear life, but it wasn't mine
If I should speak, then let it be of the grace
That is greater than all my sin
Of when justice was served, and where mercy wins!

Your story has purpose. Your testimony has purpose. YOU have purpose. It may feel like your life has been trial after trial, but you have to know that God is working in that.

God found me at my lowest & because of that I’ve been able to lead others to Him because of what I’ve gone through. Because of the trials I’ve had to face I’ve been able to help others in knowing they aren’t alone. & not only has He done this for me, but I know He will do this for you.

To whoever needs to hear it today, this trial will make you stronger. This trial will strengthen your faith. This trial will give you courage. This trial will show others what God has done for you, and I believe you will be so blessed in that. God has given you all you need to overcome this, & I believe He is walking through it with you. You are loved beyond measure & you are not alone. ❤️

hey everyone,

as I finish reading in Isaiah, I found a verse that really stuck out to me today after hearing some relation to it in a podcast I listened to earlier.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:8‬ ‭

no matter how strong in your faith you may be or feel, you will never be as high up as He is. That’s not a bad thing, or something I’d say to put you down by any means, but more of a powerful way to see how perfect our Lord is. He is perfect in every way, and loves you beyond measure even knowing how many times we’ll mess up and fall into sin & temptation. He forgives you, and only asks for your heart in return.

If you don’t know Jesus in all His entirety now, my prayer is that you’ll come to soon. Trust that He is who He says He is & allow Him to be the leader of your life.

I got the opportunity to read some more in Isaiah & had a few thoughts to share with you:

1. the Lord will not forget you. (Isaiah 49:15)

He sees you, even when you try to hide. He hears your prayers, even when it feels like no one is listening. He knows the pain you feel, and is right there to carry you when you feel too weak to keep going. He will meet you where you’re at, regardless of the sins you’re struggling with. You are NEVER to far gone, and there is NOTHING you can do to make Him love you any less.

2. If the Lord is for you, who can be against you? (Isaiah 50:9)

When you find yourself in a tough situation - lost, scared, lonely, afraid… know that the Lord is always greater than whomever and whatever it is that is against you. There is nothing He can’t do, and there is nothing He won’t do to save you. His purpose for your life is far greater than you could ever understand, and He is with you through every trial no matter how afraid you may be. Trust Him.

3. the Lord rescues. (Isaiah 51:11)

I don’t know if you’ve ever heard the song Rescue by Lauren Daigle, but these lyrics remind me that He will go to any measure to rescue me, no matter how far I’ve strayed from Him.

“I will send out an army to find you
In the middle of the darkest night
It's true, I will rescue you
I will never stop marching to reach you
In the middle of the hardest fight
It's true, I will rescue you”

He loves you more than you could ever understand, and wants you to spend eternity with Him. I pray that each of you come to know Jesus, and all that He is.

hey loves

today I got to sit down and spend some honest time in the word for the first time in awhile. I wasn’t sure where to start after being out of the word for so long, but after spending some time in prayer I felt God leading me to read in Isaiah.

I have never fully read the book of Isaiah, but as I read and journaled over the first nine chapters, I got so much out of it!

In chapter one verses 16 & 17 it tells us to simply do right. To stand up for those who can’t stand up for themselves. Even when it isn’t popular, do what you know is right. Speak up for the kid too shy to stand up for himself, help that lady pick up what she dropped, open the door for the elderly you see coming in, help the kid next to you struggling with their homework. Be kind in a world full of unkind people. Show Jesus to the ones who may not know Him yet through your actions.

In chapter seven verse nine, we see a verse filled with so much power. “If you do not stand firm in your faith, you do not stand at all”. Without God we would be nothing. He saved your life even though you were undeserving, and fights for you even when you lose sight of Him.

As you go through the rest of your week be the light God calls you to be. Hold your head up on the hard days, knowing better days will come soon. Be that person to help someone you don’t know, and step out of your comfort zone to be the vessel for God He calls you to be. Be strong. Be courageous. Be brave. Be bold. Love hard. You aren’t promised tomorrow, so make each day better than the last ❤️
