This Sunday, September 6th is our final worship at 10:00 AM before we switch to 11:00 AM worship beginning on September 13th. In addition, join us on September 13th at 9:30 AM to hear a presentation on the Mission Study with light refreshments and on September 20th after worship in Knox Hall for a Question and Answer session. All are welcome! If you want to hear more about the church's goals and where we're heading, these events are for you!

We're changing up our format for Sunday Monring Adult Faith Formation this Fall, beginning with this throught provoking class:
Violence & The Bible: Adult Faith Formation Class ◦ Begins Sunday, September 20th, 9:30 AM, Room 116
New 6-week class led by Jim Warren, addressing questions like: Is God violent? Why does the Bible contain so much graphic violence, much of it committed in God’s name? Did God need Jesus to be tortured and murdered as a sacrifice for our forgiveness? Can the Bible help us understand the escalating polarization and violence in today’s world? This class is based upon his book “Compassion or Apocalypse,” available on Amazon. Reading the book is optional and is NOT a requirement for attendance! However, attendance from the beginning is necessary, because the class builds upon concepts established in the first few sessions. The format will be lecture, with PowerPoint slides and video clips, along with discussion. Each class will be approximately 90 minutes.

We still have parking spots available for lease, but we are filling up fast! Prices are $60 a month for professionals or $150 for semester for Gannon students with ID and a $50 refundable deposit for the parking tag. Stop by the office from 9:00 - 4:00 Monday-Friday to fill out the paperwork and claim your spot!

Our annual Beach Service will take place on Sunday, Aug. 30th at 10:00 AM at the Presque Isle Cookhouse Pavilion. All are invited to gather for worship and a Fellowship picnic. This special service will feature our Praise Band and more. After the service, there will be a light brunch, hosted by our Hospitality & Membership Committee, and donations to defray the cost will be accepted and appreciated. We encourage everyone to spend the afternoon exploring Presque Isle's beautiful beaches and trails!
