Good morning church family! I'm a little slow in sharing photos from last Sunday's Ice Cream social. However, something has been rolling around in my heart and mind all week and I wanted to share it with you.

The imagery of the pictures as I looked back over them was not lost on me. Psalm 34:8 was a fun little theme...O taste and see that the Lord is good! But when I saw the first photo I took that evening of our member who came straight from his security job, I couldn't get it out of my mind. God was wanting me to recognize something.

So, I reread the chapter of Psalm 34. Do you know what verse 7 says? The verse right before our theme verse. It says, "The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him , and delivereth them." It's talking about protection...security! The whole of verse 8 reads, "O taste and see that the LORD is good : blessed is the man that trusteth in him."

We meet and worship as a congregation in fear and trust in the LORD. We fellowship and taste of the good blessings he bestows upon us. We are offered protection from the enemy as a whole.

And as individuals making up the whole, live upon and be nourished by your eternal protection and security in your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ✝️

Hey, church family! Don't forget about our cake & ice cream social Sunday evening following our Singspiration service🎵🍦🍨🎵 There will be plenty for everyone...food and fellowship!!

What a blessed day!. A new member joined and there were 3 baptisms after service. God is growing our church family🙌
