Hey Families!

We know the end of the school year is coming! ☀
Here in ElevateKIDS we want to celebrate with Spring Up Weekend!

If your little one is going into 1st grade this fall, they will be moving up to our elementary classroom. Kids in a current elementary classroom will be moving to a new small group. And graduating 5th graders will be moving on to VRTCL Youth and begin worshiping with their parents in the auditorium.

This will be a fun day for everyone with special activities, snacks, and Spring Up fun! Our team will be available to assist you with this transition so stop by Kid's Check-in with any questions.

Running into the weekend knowing ElevateKIDS is right around the corner!!

✨Check out what ElevateKids learned this weekend!✨

In Early Childhood, kids learned that Jesus cares about everyone through the story of Jesus traveling through villages, towns, and the countryside (Mark 6:53–57). They discovered that no matter where people were, Jesus cared for them and He cares for us too!

🏡 Family Connection (Early Childhood):
As you go through the week, talk about these questions with your child:
- Who does Jesus care about?
- Who can you show love to this week?
📖 Memory Verse:
“How wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.” — Ephesians 3:18 (NIV)

In Elementary, kids learned to keep going because of what God has done through the story of Peter and John before the Sanhedrin (Acts 3–4:22). They saw how Peter and John stayed bold and didn’t give up because of everything God had done.

🏡 Family Connection (Elementary):
Reread the story together and discuss:

- What did Peter and John do even when it was hard?
- What have you seen God do?
- When is it hard to keep going, and how can remembering God help you not give up?

👉 Family Step:
Take a few minutes this week to practice finding different books, chapters, and verses in the Bible with your child. Let them try to look up the memory verse on their own and celebrate when they find it!
📖 Monthly Memory Verse:
“Let us not become tired of doing good. At the right time we will gather a crop if we don’t give up.” — Galatians 6:9 (NIrV)

This weekend in ElevateKIDS, kids learned that you can share the good news about Jesus through the story of the Great Commission and Jesus’ Ascension (Matthew 28:16–20; Acts 1:1–11). They discovered that Jesus gave His followers an important mission, and that He is always with us!

🏡 Family Step:
As a family, think of one person your child can share Jesus with this week. Talk about a simple way to do it, inviting them to church, showing kindness, or telling them “Jesus loves you.” Then pray together and ask God to give them courage!
