Epworth First Baptist Church Be Changed. Live Changed. Serve Changed. Our vision is to see lives changed through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This is the heart of what Jesus has commanded His church to do in the Great Commission to "make disciples". We want people to be changed in salvation, live changed in their daily lives, and serve changed through their spiritual giftedness. In short, “We are disciples who make disciples so people can BE CHANGED, LIVE CHANGED, and SERVE CHANGED through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” We welcome you to walk alongside us in this mission together!

Jesus sends us to be witnesses to others, and we have exactly what we need because we have the Holy Spirit that works as we witness. Our collective purpose must be to bring Gospel Hope to our neighbors and nations! Acts 1:6-8

Our lost neighbors’ greatest problem is that they are separated from God. Our lost neighbors’ second greatest problem is that they are separated from God’s people. On Vision Launch Sunday we learned that the Gospel brings those who are far off near, draws us near to God, and draws us near to one another. We must invite our neighbors to experience the HOPE of the Gospel. (Ephesians 2:12-18)
