Gateway House of Prayer

Gateway House of Prayer We exist to honor Jesus through 24/7 prayer and worship. All are welcome. GHOP is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for worship and intercession. WHO IS WORTHY?

HONOR JESUS CHRIST OPEN HEAVENLY GATES

Gateway House of Prayer (GHOP) exists to honor Jesus Christ and open heavenly gates for regional transformation over Lancaster County, PA and the surrounding regions through day and night worship and prayer. We believe that this vision is part of the manifestation of the rebuilding of David’s Tabernacle which James spoke about in Acts 15:15-17…

“And wit

h this the words of the prophets agree, just as it written: ‘After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up; So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who are called by My name,’ says the Lord who does all these things.”

WHAT IS THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID? According to passages in 1 Chronicles, chapters 16-25, David’s Tabernacle was a place for people to encounter, worship and inquire of God and a place for God to encounter His people as they worshiped on various instruments and prayed. Prophetic musicians were called by King David to worship, pray and prophesy before the Lord night and day. This was David’s desire… that God would be worshiped on earth just as He is in Heaven. People ask us occasionally, “Why do you want to worship Jesus 24/7.” Our typical response is simply, “He is worthy of it.” Human beings have supermarkets open for our convenience 24 hour per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. Shouldn’t the creator of all things be honored by His people night and day? It really has to do with our value system. And we value Him. Jesus Christ is worthy of our greatest efforts to believe, honor and obey Him. At GHOP, we seek to honor Him by providing Him non-stop praise and adoration from worshiping hearts. Jesus told us to pray for His Kingdom to come on earth “as it is in Heaven.”

“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; For you created all things and by Your will they exist and were created.” – Revelation 4:11

To APPREHEND is more than to understand. Biblically, it means to lay hold of, seize or take possession of something with intention. 💪🏼 Apprehending requires movement, it requires choice. It requires the courage to reach beyond what is familiar and step into what God has promised.

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart.”
Jeremiah 29:13

This passage in Jeremiah reveals a profound spiritual truth, God responds to wholehearted pursuit. When we seek Him with our whole heart, we don’t merely learn about Him, we find Him. ❤️‍🔥

In the finding, we gain authority to apprehend what He desires to restore, heal and redeem in our lives, including the strongholds passed down through generations.

As we find ourselves vulnerable to external voices or cyclical patterns within the systems we are a part of, the scripture is clear, there is an open invitation to seek the Father with all of who we are. As we apprehend this invitation, we will find that what is pursued with intention is met with revelation. The Lord will open the eyes of our heart and reveal to us His thoughts, His ways, and His intentions. 🙏🏼

Pray with us:
“Lord, I come before You right now. I repent for the ways I have not sought You with all of my heart. repent for the ways I have found comfort in the safety of old patterns. Father, rid me of myself, I belong to You. I thank You that You say in Your Word that You will not leave us orphans but that You are coming to us. Lord, commit afresh right now to seek You with all my heart. To enter Your throne room of Grace with thanksgiving and Your courts with Praise for finding me, even when I fall short of seeking You with all of my heart. Teach me to apprehend the fullness of seeking You. Break off of my life the comfort and safety of what binds me from the fullness of knowing You. I receive Your truth, Your voice and Your discernment. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

On February 28, Israel and the United States initiated a joint preemptive strike against Iran to neutralize imminent threats. Amidst reports of Iran retaliating by launching thousands of missiles at Israel and its allies across the region came the shocking news of the death of Ali Khameneithe Supreme Leader of Iran.

In Iran, many are celebrating in the streets, hoping that this ushers in the end of decades of repression and brutality. In Israel, families remain sheltered in place as sirens continue to sound across the nation from incoming missiles. But perhaps the most significant fact of all is that the elimination of a decades-long threat of annihilation came only three days before Purim- the holiday that commemorates the deliverance of the Jewish people. As recorded in the book of Esther, Haman built gallows for Mordecai, only to be hanged on them himself when his plot to destroy the Jewish people was exposed and backfired... a story that feels strikingly present as we witness firsthand the destruction of an evil regime whose number one priority was death to Israel.

And so we rejoice not in the destruction, but in the faithfulness of a God who protects the innocent and confronts injustice, just as He did 2,500 years ago.

Pray with us:
“Oh Abba, our hearts mourn for the victims in Israel and Iran as so many are caught in the crossfires. We pray and believe for freedom for the Iranian people and for the complete dismantling of systems that exalt violence and darkness. Yahweh we ask for a fresh strength and courage among the body of Messiah, and that believers would share boldly as these regional shifts open a new door for the Gospel to go forth in the Middle East... in Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
