This Sunday we are back in the book of Habakkuk! We will unpack Habakkuk 2:4, which is the central theme of the book: "the righteous shall live by his faith". These few simple words are so significant that some theologians have labeled this phrase the theme of the entire bible. Did you know this verse was so significant that it is quoted in Romans, Galatians and Hebrews and is the foundation for some of our most treasured Christian doctrines? On top of it all, Habakkuk 2:4 is credited with being used by God to change the course of world history! We have a lot to cover, and you don't want to miss any of it! See you on Sunday!

This Sunday, we are taking a break from Habakkuk to hear from guest speaker, Pastor Tim Zuck. Tim is the new director of Church Extension, the church planting department of the Bible Fellowship Denomination. You can read more about church planting in our denomination by visiting churchplantingbfc.org.
Pastor Tim will be preaching from John 20 about how we can embrace our identity as the "sent" people of God. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday!

Join us this Sunday as we welcome Jose Gonzalez back to the pulpit! He will be expounding on Habakkuk 2:1-3. As we continue in the book of Habakkuk this week, we will see the prophet who complained To The Lord actively wait on The Lord's response in prayer, urging believers that they can do so as well.

This Sunday, we will study Habakkuk 1:5-17 where God dramatically answers Habakkuk's questions, and the answers seem more confusing than God's silence! We will see the questions get even more complex: How can a Holy God use evil people as part of His purposes? If people are ultimately fulfilling God's plan, are we responsible for our actions? Can good things really come from tragedy? You don't want to miss this week, as we dive into the ocean of God's glorious attributes and His mysterious sovereign purposes in the world!

We are excited to be beginning a new sermon series in the book of Habakkuk! As we look at the world around us, it can so often feel like God is not involved or doesn't care. Sometimes the world and the church seem so corrupted, so off the mark that we can begin to despair. How should Christians live when we face dark days, faithless times or personal doubts? Join us on May 3rd at 10:30am to look at the resounding message of Habakkuk: "the righteous shall live by faith".

This Sunday we have our LAST sermon in the book of Luke! What an incredible blessing it has been to walk through this amazing gospel with all of you. Many of you were worshipping with us when we started this journey, and so many of you have joined along the way! This book began with Jesus descending to earth in the incarnation, with good news of great joy that led to worship. It is fitting that we end this book in Luke 24:50-53 with the ascension of Christ into glory, as He commissions His disciples to proclaim good news, which they do so with great joy! Come, join us this Sunday as we discuss why the ascension of Jesus is such an important part of the gospel story, and how all that we have learned about Jesus in the gospel of Luke should lead us to live lives of joyful worship!

This Sunday, we will study Luke 24:36-49. Have you ever been surprised to see someone? What was your reaction? In this passage, Jesus suddenly appears to His disciples and speaks a Word of peace to them! He patiently speaks to their doubts and fears by showing them His physical proof that He is alive! This Sunday, we celebrate that Jesus is alive, the Bible is true, God still speaks through His Word, the physical world matters, and the future is better than we can imagine. There is so much in this passage, you do not want to miss it!
