EFA Family we are are so blessed to have you in our lives for SUCH A TIME AS THIS…
Here is an update for our Church family as we continue in this season of healing …
You are such a gift in our lives, and we are incredibly honored to serve as your pastors. You have walked with us through the mountaintops and the valleys, through seasons of celebration and seasons of challenge, and we can never fully express how much your love, prayers, and support mean to us.
During this season of Pastor Crystal’s healing journey, we are confident that our church family and ministry will continue to remain strong, healthy, and thriving as God continues to pour out His Spirit. We believe the revival we have been praying for is not slowing down—it is accelerating.
Pastor Crystal and I will continue to stay connected and engaged with our church family. I will be able to be present in person more often than she can, but please don’t hesitate to reach out to her virtually. On her good days, she will be catching up, connecting, and staying involved as much as possible.
In those moments when we are not physically present, we are blessed to have an incredible extension of our leadership in our children Justin, Kelsey, Lyndsey and Tanner as well as our staff.
This team carries an anointing and passion that is our heartbeat and we fully believe that God ordained for this season!!!! God knew in advance and started shifting and preparing before we even KNEW what was coming! SUCH AN AWESOME FATHER!
They share our passion for EFA and carry the same heartbeat for this ministry that we do. Should you need anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out to them. They will either have the answer you need or quickly connect with us so we can help.
We are tremendously blessed by your faithfulness. Thank you for continuing to show up, serve, give, pray, and worship harder than ever before.
We truly believe we are about to witness a miraculous outpouring and multiplication in this church. We can see it coming, and we are filled with expectation for what God is about to do.
As for Pastor Crystal’s health journey, within two days of arriving at MD Anderson, we unexpectedly found ourselves in the emergency room. She was taken into emergency surgery, where both ovaries were removed and nearly two liters of fluid were drained from her abdomen. We did not realize just how quickly things had progressed, and we are so thankful that God had already positioned us exactly where we needed to be.
After eight days in the hospital, she was released, and her surgical team has now cleared her to begin chemotherapy, which starts this week.
We are grateful for every prayer, every message, every phone call, every act of kindness, and every word of encouragement. Please continue praying and believing with us.
Pastor Crystal loves each of you deeply, and being away from her church family has been one of the hardest parts of this journey. Your love and support have carried us through more than you know.
We love you, we thank God for you, and we are believing together for a miracle.
Keep showing up! God is pouring out and we are witnessing a NEW THING!
Much Love ~ Pastors Shawn & Crystal
